“Aiden scores. I’m going to help you score. I just need you to not freak out since I know what I’m doing.”

“There you go again.”

My lips move on their own accord. “I am a man, or haven’t you noticed?”

“I’ve noticed. Who else would’ve opened up that Gatorade bottle for me the other day?”

I give a small shake of my head. “And here I thought you were flirting with me.”

Hollyn chuckles and leans a bit over the wall, almost brushing her ass against my cock. “Flirting with you would be the death of me.”

My brows knit. “Why?”

“Because you’d look at me like I was an idiot.” I open my mouth to retort that, but she adds on, “Probably like how you’re doing now.”

“I’m not looking at you like you’re an idiot.”

“Mhm.” She glimpses over her shoulder, and she has to see how close we are, but she doesn’t move. For as innocent and sweet as Hollyn is, I would almost swear by that red hair that she’s a damn firework in bed and that she knows exactly what she’s doing to me.

I shouldn’t be thinking of Hollyn flirting with me at all. What the hell is that going to prove?

“You wanna do this thing with me or not?” I inquire. “Finally, make Weston see what's standing in front of him?”

“Yes.”

She doesn’t even know what that entails. How I’m going to make Weston shit his pants when he finds me with his assistant and my tongue down her throat?

“You wanna ask me how we’re going to make him notice you?”

“No,” she replies evenly, straightening her spine. “However, if that doesn’t work, you owe me dessert next.”

“Anything in particular?”

“I’ll think about it.”

“You won’t have to think long when this kid scores, Shorty.”

She smiles at me and returns her attention back to the ice.

She might be thinking about it for the next few seconds. I, however, will be thinking about it all night long.

HOLLYN

I’ll never make another bet with Reid again.

Especially without knowing all the terms behind it. He currently has me caged against the side of my car. His thick arms sandwich either side of me so that I couldn’t move, even if I wanted to.

I can’t seem to find the will to do that, though, which is pretty messed up when the whole idea behind this is to get Weston jealous.

Not that I think it’s going to happen.

He would’ve asked me out already, or at least hinted toward it. And I’ve been wasting away for weeks before Reid arrived, wondering when that moment was going to happen. However, it only seems like he enjoys flirting with the moms.

Or maybe he’s buttering them up and building rapport.

It’s pretty hard to defend him when all I heard were giggles and swift touches to his biceps. I’ve never done that to someone I barely knew.

“Hollyn, breathe,” Reid commands, his tone hard but soft, all in the same sweep of air. “We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.”
