When she did wake up, she immediately touched her stomach, but I let her know the baby was fine. A smile broke out on her face, and she looked cheerful while thinking about our baby. Then she asked the question I dreaded answering. I really wished she didn’t worry about what happened to him. I just told her that he died from his injuries.
I’m glad she didn’t ask me more about it. Craig was beaten to death by her, and he literally took his last breath once my men walked into the room. They said he died a slow, painful death and I, for one, was glad.
But I was surprised when she said she was glad he was dead. She is stronger than I give her credit for, and I quickly captured her lips with mine. The kiss was getting heated until her brother came into the room. She told everybody about our baby, and they were just as happy as we were.
I couldn’t wait to have her in my room so we could finish what we started in the hospital room. I had to make sure she wanted to at first and once she gave me the green light, I worshipped her body. I really wanted to go slow, but she begged me to go faster, and I think I was too rough for our first time in five days. We went to sleep afterwards, and I was so glad she was satisfied because this would be my first time sleeping in five days. I didn’t sleep because I was waiting to find her, plus my body was used to her being in my arms all night.
When I woke up to an empty bed the next morning, I thought maybe the whole day yesterday was just a dream. I gave a quick glance around the room but didn’t see her. My chest tightened, and I screamed at myself for believing she was in my arms earlier.
She ran out of my bathroom and hugged me. I didn’t even notice I was crying until she wiped away my tears. Relief spread throughout my body when I realized she was right here in front of me. I squeezed her tight, not wanting to let her go.
She asked me what was wrong.
“I thought yesterday was just a dream since I didn’t see you when I woke up. Please wake me up before you get out of my arms in the morning.”
She gave me an apologetic look. “I’m sorry, Jason. I just wanted to take a relaxing bath, and you looked like you could use the rest.”
After I calmed down, I realized she was naked in my lap, dripping wet.
I made her straddle me and told her, “Ride me, sweetie.”
She slid down my penis so effortlessly and moved her hips back and forth. I grabbed her breasts and began to flick and lick the nipples while her head fell backwards. She moaned my name, and I began to thrust upwards while she rode me. It didn’t take long for us to reach our climax, and she held onto me while catching her breath. She rolled off me and pulled my arms around her stomach.
She tensed. “Jason, there is still someone out there we have to find. Craig said someone helped him kidnap me because he wanted revenge on you. We have to find the person before I give birth.”
I squeezed her and said, “He is in the dungeon already. It was my cousin. I actually have to get up and pay him a visit, but I just want to hold you for a little while longer.”
“You have a dungeon?” was all she asked.
That seemed to be the only thing she wanted to know. I told her it was my Dad’s, and it was part of the family business. I haven’t really thought too much about the family business, but I know after everything that has happened, Dad is going to want me to take over for him. He kept mentioning how I was handling things like a boss, and I would be a great boss. Dawn said something that knocked me out of my thoughts.
“Can I go to the dungeon to see him with you?”
I was taken aback for a minute. “Why?”
“I need to ask him why he did this, and I need to make sure he will never hurt us again.”
I didn’t want her to go, but I knew I couldn’t stop her from coming with me.
I responded, “Okay, but you have to stay close to me and if you feel like you’re getting sick, then we have to leave. He looks kind of horrible right now since I worked him up asking about your whereabouts.”
She turned around to face me, kissing my lips.
I said, “I have something else to tell you.”
I didn’t know how to tell her this, but knew I couldn’t keep it from her. This could make her change her mind about being with me. She could decide to keep our baby from me and my family. I need to tell her and stop thinking of the worst-case scenario.
“My cousin told me he did this because my father killed his dad a long time ago. I know you don’t know much about my family’s past, but it’s looked down upon when you marry someone who is not of Italian descent, especially if that person is Black. My uncle said some things that upset my father and he killed him with no hesitation. We took in my cousin because my mom told my dad it was the least he could do since he made him fatherless. My cousin and I never got along, which is why you haven’t met him before. He wanted revenge and to kill all of us when he took over the business.
“I know this is a lot of information. I also may have to take over the business when my father retires because of all the moves I made while looking for you. I don’t regret it though because it brought you back to me. I promise to take care of you and our baby always, and you will always come before the business. I just hope you will stay with me when I have to take over.”
She kissed me while rubbing her thumb on my face and said, “I’m forever yours.”
I kissed her back roughly, and she smiled at me. I love this woman and she does things to me no one has ever done before.
Our kissing was interrupted by someone knocking on my door.
“Get ready, son, we have to go,” Dad called.
