My skin tingled under his touch, alive and electric. He traced the lines of my body, his palms both gentle and possessive, claiming every inch of me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, longing to be as close as two souls can be.
“You are the stars that light my night sky, the sun that awakens my day, the moon that guides my heart home,” he said.
My eyes welled with tears at his tender words. “As you are mine, my love, my light in the darkness, my heart, my home.”
He brushed a tear from my cheek, his eyes glimmering with adoration. Then he kissed me again, and I lost myself in his embrace, my love for this man as endless as the stars stretching to forever.

Kian brushed a strand of hair away from my face, his eyes filled with love and contentment.
“I hope that I bred you,” he said softly. “That we will have many strong Surlon children.”
My heart skipped a beat at his words. I hadn’t meant to keep it from him, I was only waiting for the right moment. But now, there could be no better time.
I reached up, cupping his cheek. “You’re going to be a father.”
For a moment, he went very still. I saw the shock and disbelief in his gaze as he processed my words. Then his eyes lit with a fierce joy.
He kissed me then, hard and deep, rolling me beneath him once more. I laughed into the kiss, wrapping my arms around him.
When he pulled back, his eyes were suspiciously bright. “You’re certain?”
