“You’ve been so good. Followed the rules so well.” His hand smooths over my back and caresses my head.

I whimper.

He laughs. “Bar?”

The omega drops to his knees behind me. While Jet’s cock stands proudly in front of me. The sight is hypnotizing.

He works his shaft up and down. I stare at him. It’s so erotic, so hot. But then Barren’s hot mouth begins devouring me, and it’s all I can do not to scream.

“You can come now, Scarlet.”

Bar shoves two fingers in me, three, and pumps them hard. He finds my clit and flicks his fingers fast while his tongue probes inside me. I explode.

“Good girl,” Jet murmurs, stroking my hair, while I lie there shuddering, my nails having pierced the couch. I’m sure I’m going to have bruises, but I can’t move, not while that magic tongue is still lapping over my throbbing nerves. “Bar, come here.”

Barren pulls his face from my still pulsing cunt and reluctantly withdraws his fingers. I almost protest the loss of them. Pushing myself up, I find my legs aren’t working properly and promptly sit on the ground by the couch.

I feel dazed and vulnerable and exuberant.

My head shakes rapidly, trying to get rid of these strange feelings enough to focus on what’s going on.

Bar is laying on his back, Jet hovers over the top of him, kissing a sexy, slow trail up his stomach to his chest. He moves slowly up and over Bar, pausing, they stare for a moment, and then both lean into a kiss that is so intimate it makes me burn. The moment Jet enters him is punctuated by a moan from Barren that threatens to shred my control. They don’t break eye contact, and though I’d seen what he meant to the alphas, seeing it like this now, so raw, so real, it's breathtaking, and it fine tunes that yearning inside my heart to a painful blade.

I watch in silence, unable to move and unwilling to intrude as Jet makes love to Bar. There is so much intensity, so much love in every movement. Every touch. Every glance between them.

I find myself wiping tears away. Before they finish, I get up and slip out of the room.

“How long are you going to follow her around?” Taylor leans against the wall beside me, his eyes drilling into the side of my head.

“Until she’s gone.” I spit.

“Hmm.”

“I saw signs someone’s out camping in the East woods. Poachers or hikers.” I say absently.

“Oh? Where abouts? I’ll go have a look,” Taylor asks in a voice that makes me turn.

He keeps his gaze on her, but I can almost feel the tension. I let it go. Taylor has kept our pack above water. Whatever it is, he’ll handle it.

I realise I’m watching her again. Again. She’s everywhere. There’s no escape.

I tear my eyes from Red and look at Taylor. He looks so calm and in control. Normally, his confident aura brings me a semblance of peace, but since she’s come here, nothing but Barren is easing me back from the rage that’s whirling inside like a maelstrom.

“What does hmm mean, by the way?” I growl low.

“It means I think you’re letting your past influence you.”

I snap my teeth and level him with a withering glare. “You don’t know her like I do.”

Taylor sighs. “Have you tried talking to her?”

I seethe. That’s the last thing I want to do.

“Okay, have at it then.” Taylor turns, pushes off the wall, and walks into the room. He speaks to her. She looks up from her computer, speaks to him quietly, and returns to her work.
