I look at Aaron and smile. “Is this what I think it is?”

He grins. “Maybe.”

I take a sip. “Oh my goodness, it’s perfect!”

A few months ago, Aaron decided to branch out into other avenues. Following discussions with Sienna and Chef, he has since launched a lifestyle business that will sell products such as my favorite cocktail and of course, Chef’s special sauce.

I’ve been brought on board, too, and it feels so good to be channeling my creative energy somewhere. I’m helping launch a baby collection, which was inspired by Tyler and The Bahamas. It fits right into my major at college which is design.

I study everything from graphic design to clothing design to business 101 to marketing. Anything and everything that’s going to help me.

Aaron offered me a position in the new company, but I refused. I’m just a consultant, and the more prominent roles went to Sienna, Chef and a few other people Aaron wanted to utilize in different capacities.

You’d think creating another company would mean more work for Aaron, but he’s become surprisingly good at delegating.

I remember when he was on the reality show and wouldn’t put his phone down, or the day after we made love, and he was stuck on a business call.

I was worried that it would happen again, even though he promised it wouldn’t. I let actions speak louder than words and I was very vocal about it.

Since he found out I was pregnant, he has had no issue with relinquishing control at his company. He would never do so completely, but it’s a massive step for him.

I thought the sleepless nights with Tyler would make him want to run back to work but he was always there, wanting to spend time with us and making sure he was involved.

Sienna claps. “Yay! The boss finally gave us her stamp of approval!”

Aaron whines. “Hey! I’m the boss.”

She rolls her eyes. “Sure you are.”

He looks at me happily sipping my drink and laughs. “Whatever keeps that smile on her face.”

My heart melts. I couldn’t be happier with Aaron and our boy. He’s exceeded every expectation and then some.

He’s night and day compared to the man I met on the beach.

I put my drink down and jump into the pool.

I swim to Tyler who is secured in a float and kiss him on the cheek. He giggles. It’s the best sound in the entire world.

I smile at Aaron who’s smiling just as big as I am.

“Did you get everything you wanted for tomorrow?”

I nod. “Yes. Sienna nearly had a heart attack when I didn’t let her get everything for me.”

He rolls his eyes. “Standard.”

He reaches out and strokes my face. My stomach fills with butterflies.

I thought maybe those would go away after a while, but they haven’t.

Everything about him makes me feel giddy. I lean over and kiss him, tingles spreading throughout my body.

He deepens the kiss, and it reminds me of the night we first made love. Every time we’ve been intimate since has been just as magical. I can’t get enough of him.

I never thought I’d feel like this. I never thought I’d feel so strongly for someone.

We break apart, both breathing heavily, and look at Tyler who is giggling.
