“God, yes.”

Her breathing was labored, her moans soft, and her orgasm rose sharply.

“Oh fuck!" he moaned. “Your cunt is gripping me so tight, like a fucking glove.”

Then the sinful coil snapped, throwing her over into paradise. Her eyes rolled back in her head as her knees locked around his hips. His body went suddenly stiff, burying deep and erupting, his hot release filling her pussy.

Lincoln panted as he shifted off her to collapse on the bed. Vivi languidly turned her head to smile at him.

“You’re really good at this,” she said.

He chuckled. “Thanks. Right back at you.”

He pulled her into his arms and rested his chin on top of her head. Tucked warmly into his body, Vivi closed her eyes and relaxed.

Chapter Ten

Aera Cross sat at the head of the table in the club’s church room, nursing a tumbler of whiskey. He really had no desire to finish the drink because his mind was a million miles away. As always, his thoughts were centered onher. Even gone she still haunted him. Clouding up his thoughts, messing with his ability to lead his men. There were probably a dozen fires to put out, but he couldn’t seem to care about anything.

A knock sounded at the door and all he did was swivel around as his VP, Raiden, entered. An annoyed glower darkened his face as he headed to his chair. They stared at one another as he sat.

“I thought you were going to keep her,” Raiden said, his tone cold and accusing.

“I was,” Cross muttered. “But then she got into my head differently and I was saying shit I didn’t mean. Then she rode away on the back of that asshole’s bike.”

“His name is Lincoln.”

“I know. In my head he’s Asshole.”

Raiden sighed and ran a hand down his face. “You can’t keep on like this. You’re not focused. There hasn’t been a church meeting in a couple of weeks. I’m keeping up our distribution runs, but are you the president of this club, or are you some whipping boy?”

Cross banged his fist on the table. “Watch your place.”

“Myplace, Aera, is your number one. I’m not supposed to be the chief, but I’ve been putting out fires for months. Ever since that little bitch showed up.”

“Don’t call her that!” Cross snapped. He ran a hand through his hair. “Fuck! She has this ability to settle all the shit bubbling around in my head. It goes away and gives me a moment of peace. I never realized how much I craved that.”

“How?”

“I don’t know. She … touches me and I’m calm. I have clarity. I don’t know how else to explain it. She’s magic.”

“Magic?” he scoffed. “Then what are you gonna do about it?”

Cross blinked and leaned back in his chair. What the fuck could he do? She left. Helether go. Yet every cell in his body pushed him to go after her. Keep her forever to quiet his rage. Surely, if she knew how much he needed her, she would come back. She would stay with him because she had a good heart. She wouldn’t want him to suffer.

His mind made up, he stood. Raiden cocked his head.

“I’ve got to get her back,” he said.

“I can hold down the fort,” Raiden said. “Go get your woman.”

“I will,” Cross vowed. “She’ll be mine, in every way.”

Chapter Eleven

The next night Vivi bounced in her seat, excitement bubbling up. Lincoln drove the club truck toward their favorite bar, which hosted karaoke night every Tuesday. He followed Brim and Leia, with Thorn and Chase behind. Another dozen riders trailed. Although she wasn’t like Zaylah, who’d been blessed with a magical singing voice, Vivi planned to belt out all her favorite pop songs. Dogs might howl and cats might hiss, but being in tune wasn’t a requirement for a night of fun.

“Will you sing a duet with me?” she asked Lincoln.
