After washing my hands, I read the note.

I went to see my brother and fam. If you wake up and want to join, text me. I’ll come and get you. Do not come up alone. I’ll worry. I don’t care if they caught the guy.

-Brett

There was no room number so I was sure he did that on purpose, forcing me to text him to find out where they were.

I could’ve texted him. I should’ve. An easy text and Brett would come get me, but after the onslaught of pleasure and all the emotions from the Love You Event, and waking up without him here, I didn’t text him.

I texted his PR person instead.

Me: This is Billie. What’s the room number for Brett’s brother?

I assumed I might need to wait for her response, but it came almost right away.

Kim, Kings Public Relations: I’ll give it to you, but you did not get it from me. I am fully aware that if Brett wanted you to have it, he’d give the number to you himself and since you’re asking me, that means he didn’t.

Her next text gave me the number.

Kim, Kings Public Relations: Delete these texts in your history.

I dressed, using a washcloth to clean up a little, but there was one area I left alone. When I headed out for their room, Brett’s cum was still on me.

Since I was going up a few floors, I didn’t run into anyone else, but I still pulled the hood of Brett’s Kings’ hoodie up when I knocked on their door. I could hear sounds of kids inside. Running around. A few shouts.

Footsteps came over, pausing on the other side of the door, and a muffled curse was said as the door was opened. “Brett, found something of yours.” The guy barely skimmed me with a look, shutting the door behind me and walking back around as Brett came over.

A thunderous expression was on his face, but as he drew closer, I held up a finger and tipped my head back.

He stopped just inches from me, waiting. His eyes firmly latched onto mine.

We were in a doorway. Brett was blocking the view of us from everyone else, no one could see around his back so I closed the distance and lifted up on my tiptoes. I held my finger still in place until I could curve it around his neck as Brett moved with me, fitting his body to mold around mine, and as our lips touched, we both exhaled a deep breath.

It’d been wrong to wake up without him.

It was right to be back in his arms.

His arm tightened around mine, and a low growl ripped from him before he deepened the kiss.

“Keep it PG,” came a flat female voice, younger.

Brett froze for a second, then lifted his head and held my gaze for a moment longer. His arm moved so both of his hands held onto my hips and his fingers flexed, keeping me against him. “You smell like me still.”

I grinned, slowly. “It is your sweatshirt.”

His eyes darkened, as his fingers flexed again. “Something tells me it’s not just the sweatshirt.”

“Okay, okay. My wife is threatening bodily injury if you don’t step aside and let the rest of us meet your woman.”

Brett held firm for a second before stepping back.

I’d not taken the time to really take in his brother when he opened the door. It happened so quick, and I’d only seen Brett after, but now, studying him, it was a little surreal seeing parts of Brett in him.

But not.

Will looked younger, and on the outside, he had dark blond hair that was tussled, and with a white hooded sweatshirt and faded jeans, he looked almost the exact opposite of his brother. Brett was rough. He had his beard and some tattoos, but it was more. It was the air around him. At first glance, Brett could’ve been cast as a villain, or at the very least, an anti-hero. At first glance, anyone who met Brett knew that about him. They sensed it.

His brother looked the opposite, like he was the hero.
