I glance up at Drazak with chagrin. “You got that dog you wanted.”

His smile brings his tusks all the way up to his eyes. “I have everything,” he says with a nod. “Everything I could ever want.”

Drazak

We are still presented with the problem of escaping human territory alive. But we managed to find Esme here, and we can get out the same way.

My body thirsts for our human’s, but I will just have to wait. I need to earn her trust back, her love. And yet as she walks between us, the dog leading the way, my cock is straining my breeches. I want nothing more than to show her what she means to me, how my very being desires to be reunited with her again, to feel the strength of our bond return.

Han’zir rubs my shoulder. “Soon,” he whispers in my ear, making the hair on my neck stand on end.

Once again we travel by night, crossing field after field, until we reach the safety of the dense woods. We keep our weapons at the ready in case we run into soldiers. It seems, though, that they’re occupied elsewhere. Smoke rises into the sky in the distance, and I can almost smell the burnt flesh.

When we meet two scouts in the woods, we spot them before they spot us. I ready an arrow and let it fly, striking the first one in the head. As he falls from his horse, Han’zir leaps out with his spear and hurls it through the second soldier. Esme gasps and covers her mouth, watching as both of them tumble to the forest floor. I fear that seeing her kinsmen killed in front of her will send her running, but instead she approaches their horses, her eyes wide.

“New horses!” She climbs up on one, and I get up behind her. Han’zir takes the other, Keva following happily behind us.

We stop to bathe in a river on the way, and seeing our Esme’s soft body again, I can’t keep myself from touching her. Though she has kept a tight hold on her affections until now, she relaxes into my hands, and I see my need reflected back at me in her eyes. I can’t help myself any longer, and my fingers find their way to her peaked nipples, then to the warm, soft place between her legs. Han’zir approaches her from behind, his cock just as swollen and hard as mine. She moans as it slips between her cheeks, and Han’zir’s eyes roll back in his head.

“Please,” Esme says quietly, stroking my chest, her hand trailing down my belly to my straining, heavy cock. “Please, Drazak.”

And so, while she lies back in Han’zir’s arms, I take her. Being inside her soft, tight cunt again is like being home. I’m so overwhelmed by the sensation of her, her tiny lips on mine, that I crest far too soon. Remembering how she left us, I pull out and empty myself into the river.

“My turn,” Han’zir says, bringing her into his lap. She rises up over his cock, and my hands holding her up, she slides down onto it. He groans, and the sound of him slicking in and out of her makes me thick all over again. Esme reaches for me, and when she takes me into her hot, wet mouth, I’m enraptured. She sucks on me, moaning as she rises up and down on Han’zir’s lap, taking both of us into her perfect body. The sound of their pleasure easily brings me to my powerful finish, and Esme’s eyes go wide as I fill up her mouth. Han’zir pulls himself free at the last moment, his seed spraying across her.

“I suppose we’ll need to wash you again,” I say, sweeping some away from her well-loved lips. She grabs my hand and licks it up, and I think that I might be the luckiest damn orc that ever did live.

Keva hurls herself into the river alongside us, and watching Esme play with her, I know that we are finally all together—that our circle is complete.

Chapter 17

Esme

To be with my troll and my orc again, there is nothing like it. I have no words to describe how it feels to sleep between them again, even on the hard forest floor. We make our way across occupied territory, staying as far as we can from the sounds of battle.

By coming for me, they’ve made it clear to me who I am to them.

And then, the trees end and the valley spreads out below us, and I can’t help but run towards it—back to my home. Keva barks and runs alongside me, and I hear Han’zir call my name. They follow on our new horses, who will help us till the fields and restore the farm again.

Though there is very little food left, and the cold air tastes of the upcoming winter, hope blooms in my chest. If we survived this, we can survive anything.

First thing in the morning, Drazak slings his bow over his back and leaves into the woods to search for something to eat. Han’zir, Keva and I forage for what we can find, and I’m glad to discover mushrooms are in season. Han’zir knows which ones are safe and which aren’t, and we return from our first day with two heavy baskets full of soft, meaty mushrooms to eat.

Drazak manages to land a young deer, and it will provide sustenance for two weeks at least. The winter crops we planted are starting to sprout, and I’m optimistic that we’ll make it through.

Of course we will, as long as we have each other.

But it’s a difficult winter. The food runs low and game is scarce, and there are some nights we go hungry. Keva is adept at catching rabbits, though, and keeps herself fed.

It isn’t long before the dog starts to get bigger and more sluggish. “I think she’s going to have puppies,” Han’zir says. He’s become very fond of her, and Drazak always watches him cuddle her in front of the fire with a sly grin.

The cold nights are not so bad with my troll and my orc to keep me warm. After long days of scrounging for food and making meals of what we can, we sit around the fire in our home, sharing all our dreams for the future when this awful war is over and the bitter cold has finally passed. At night we curl up in our bed together, a mess of arms and legs. Sometimes I watch Han’zir get on his knees, and Drazak licks him, getting him ready with shining oil, squeezing fingers inside him to make his path easier. Then Drazak slides in, the two of them grunting with their ecstasy. Often, I can’t help myself and I take Han’zir into my mouth, suckling him until he gushes and cries out our names. Drazak buries himself deep, groaning as his seed spills down Han’zir’s cheeks.

But they do not speak of whelps again. They never empty themselves inside me. I know they’re afraid of scaring me away.

The soldiers don’t come back. One day in town, Han’zir learns that the war has ended. Humans stole what land they could and then the trollkin took it back in a tide of blood, until a stalemate was reached. We don’t have to worry that our meager crops will be ripped away from us again.

At last, the clouds begin to part and the weather takes a turn for the better. The puppies are born, and they are sweet and small and full of life. The world warms up, and our winter tubers are ready to harvest. At last we have fresh food, and I’m certain that someday soon, the farm will be productive and well once again.
