When realization hits, I feel dumber than a sack of potatoes. Looking back at the house, I almost pass out. Literally.

My knees go weak at its enormity and at just how perfect it is. Arrow slides up behind me as Havoc joins my side.

“We needed to show you we have no intention of ever leaving you again,” Havoc says as he takes my hand.

“And we thought, what better way than to create a home with you?” Arrow says in my ear.

Tears spring to my eyes, some of the happiest tears I have ever had in my whole life. Turning, I nearly take Arrow to the ground as I jump on him. My body wraps around his in an embrace that says everything I’m feeling.

I had already forgiven them both, this is just icing on the cake. My hands tremble because of how real this feels and how much my life has changed in just two short years.

I’ve met two men that I love more than anything in the world, created a new family, and made the best of friends. I could neverhave asked for a better life. Every moment of heartache and trauma I have experienced is totally outshined by the love and happiness I have found.

Havoc embraces us from behind, and I cry like a baby sandwiched between them. I can’t help it. This feels so surreal.

When I finally calm down enough to kiss Arrow then Havoc, they both take one of my hands. We walk up to the front door and open it to find all of our friends and family waiting for us. Literally, everyone is here. Evie and the guys, Boris and Nessa, Kia and Lyra, Akio, and my parents.

I take it all in, basking in a glow that I never even knew was possible. A few months ago, I thought believing in fairytales was something for children. Now, I know better.

Cinderella had to struggle before she found her prince. Snow White was drugged. Rapunzel was locked in a tower, and Mulan had to fight in a war.

We all have challenges to face in this world that help us tell our stories. If we were all freely given our happily ever after without having to fight for it, how do we know our ending is somethingworthfighting for?

We spend the evening in the main living area and kitchen just eating and hanging out together. It’s so nice to finally spend time with my parents and get to introduce them to the men I love. My father and Arrow start discussing Christmas plans for this year, and my mother and Havoc mix up drinks that are way too strong for everyone.

Evie and I had the bright idea for the two of us to dance on the kitchen island after my parents left. However, that was a terrible decision. Evie stumbles backwards and thankfully Damien catches her. Since he is pretty much the only sober one here, I’m glad he was watching because I don’t think anyone else has the capability to help us now.

Evie falls over me, laughing after I get down to join her. I can’t help but laugh too. I have no idea what it’s about, but it feels so good, like all of the emotions that left us raw on the battlefield are finally beginning to heal.

While I know Lev is mourning his father, he’s also very caught up in Evie and Damien. Seeing all of our unconventional loves under one roof makes my heart feel lighter.

Eventually, we all end up on the roof when the high of the buzz starts to fade. Arrow had it set up with a fireplace and a bunch of comfy lounge chairs, as well as swinging bed-like contraptions I know I will try to live on when it’s warmer.

“Do guys experiment with guys the same way girls experiment with girls in college?” Nessa asks randomly.

Arrow and Havoc both look down at me. “Have you experimented with women, Unicorn?”

“Hell yeah,” I say a little too loud. “How do you know you’re not into something until you try it?”

“That’s how Lyra and I found each other,” Kia says before she leans in to kiss Lyra. “I didn’t know I was into women until her. But she’s the only woman I’ve been with.”

Lyra smiles up at her with her cheeks pink. Their love is so cute I could gag. Although, I’m sure people feel the same way about me and my guys. And Evie and her guys for that matter.

“Did you experiment?” Damien asks Evie.

“No, I was too busy killing people. Plus, there weren’t a lot of women in my world.”

I sit up straight, much to the disappointment of my men. “You mean you’ve never kissed a girl before?” I ask in shock.

She shrugs. “Not really.”

“I’ve only ever kissed Lyra and Kia,” Nessa says. Boris’ eyes bulge with that information. I knew this already, Ness and I are bubble bath video calling buddies after all. There is very little I don’t know about her.

“What made you kiss them?” Evie asks. Alexi looks torn between being interested in the conversation and keeping Evie glued to his lap.

“We were all just drunk, and I told them I’d never kissed a girl. They said I should try it, so I did. Their lips are so much softer than any man's.”

“Maybe refrain from speaking of other men in front of me,” Boris mutters. Nessa giggles, scooting in closer to him.
