I must have fallen back to sleep because I wake up to the sound of the door opening. It’s Sue.

I pry myself away from Wes, whose arm has once again wrapped itself around me. Clearly, he finds the same comfort I do in being close together. I feel something hard poking me in the ass and realize it’s his cock, clearly just as excited to be near me as I am to be near it.

He sleeps through Sue’s entrance.

“Breakfast.” She whispers, setting a tray on the table.

“May I wait for Wes to wake up?” I whisper back.

She looks at me, then Wes in the bed. “Did you use a condom?”

“We didn’t have sex.” I roll my eyes, speaking softly so as not to wake Wes.

“Okay.” She nods but doesn’t seem convinced. “I got you a bagel and coffee. You can eat again with Wes.” I want to groan, but I know I’ve already gotten more freedom than I had in months, so I don’t want to push my luck. “I have a scale on the bus, so we can weigh you before the show if you still want to do that.”

“I do.” I nod.

“I’ll leave you two be then. Eat the bagel, and let me know what you order with Wes.” Her voice is authoritative. Now is not the time to mistake her words for a suggestion. She is ordering me around like she always has. Sue the hall monitor.

She leaves. I debate throwing away the bagel, but I know she is bound to check the trashcan, so I pick at it. I could get away with pouring the coffee down the drain, but I’m actually happy to have some. I’m not hungover, but I’m still slightly groggy.

I shower after I finish the bagel and coffee. It’s nice to have a real shower and be able to take my time. I come out of the bathroom in a robe and see Wes sliding on his pants, the sight of his bare legs quickly fading as he tugs his pants up over his boxers. His chest is still bare, and I fight the urge to lick my lips at the sight.

“Shower is free.”

“Good morning to you, too.” He smiles at me with a wink.

“Good morning.” I feel heat flood my cheeks at his wink.

“Hungover?” I shake my head. “Me either.” He picks up the room service menu. “But I’m starving. What should we get?”

“I already had a bagel and coffee. But Sue wants me to eat more.”

“Waffles? More pancakes?”

“Egg and toast.” I say, knowing I won’t be able to get out of eating again.

“How do you want your eggs?” He asks, picking up the hotel room phone. I shrug. “You seem like an over-easy kind of girl.”

“Are you calling me easy?.”

“No.” He laughs. “Though last night you practically begged to suck my dick.” He says playfully.

“I’m sorry.”

“Never apologize for that.” He smiles.

I sit on the couch while he orders food. I realize my stomach isn’t in knots over the idea of eating for the first time in a long time. That was some progress. Something to be proud of, but for some reason, it just made me a little sad.

He hangs up the phone. “I’m going to take a quick shower if you don’t mind.”

“No. Go for it.” I smile.

I brush my hair while he showers, then use the vanity to put on a little bit of makeup. I’m digging through my suitcase for something to wear, when Wes comes out of the bathroomwrapped in a towel. He is drying his hair with a smaller towel tucked in his masculine hands.

“It feels so good to use a real shower.”

“Right?” I grin at him.
