“What the hell?” Bear growled. “Where is she?”

“That bastard got to her,” Creed whispered as he pushed past them all and rushed outside with his gun raised up.

Harry came up behind him on the steps. “Brother, it’s dark. You won’t find them.”

Creed growled as he turned and grabbed Harry, holding him up a foot off the ground.

“Creed!” Tate yelled. “Put him down.”

Creed let him go as he yelled, “I am gonna find that bastard and I’m gonna rip his head right off his shoulders with my bare hands if he hurts her.”

Midge came up to the open door behind them. “Get a hold of yourself, Creed. Come on, we’ll find her. I gotta an ace in the hole. We can find her.”

“How the hell can we find her, woman?” Silas snapped.

Midge smiled and reached up to pinch his cheek. “I got my own ways and if you come with me, I’ll show you exactly where she is. Then it will be up to you guys to go get her and bring her home.”

They all stared at her as she walked down the hall.

Silas shook his head and told them, “Well, let’s go boys, looks like we done got told.”

Everyone followed Midge inside.

When they reached the kitchen, she was studying her phone. They all got close and looked over her shoulder to see a red dot moving away from the farm.

“What the hell are we looking at,” Creed asked.

“Your woman, that’s what,” Midge replied. “She’s got my pearls.”

Silas stared at her. “Your bugged ones?”

“That’s right, sugar man. I planned ahead, like I always do.”

Silas snorted. “Some women knit sweaters and play bingo, ya know?”

She scoffed. “And some of us don’t play that silly game, we play our own.”

They all watched the monitor as the minutes ticked by.

Creed paced back and forth and then he growled. “I don’t like all this fucking waiting.”

Tate looked over at him. “We can’t take her from them while they are on the road, son. She might get hit with a bullet.”

Creed stopped pacing and glared at him as he clenched his fists.

“Creed, we will get her back,” Silas assured him in a soothing voice.

After about twenty minutes, the red dot finally stopped moving and when Midge made the picture larger, they brought up a map. It showed the other side of Killian at a house on Maple street.

“I know where that place is,” Tate said. “That house is on the corner and there’s no one else around it. Those are the old track houses and they’ve been empty for years.”

“Well, they aren’t empty anymore.” Creed sneered. “Let's go find my woman. Maybe Liam will be there and I can kill him by tearing his head off his shoulders.”

Midge held out her arms to Tate.

Tate handed her the baby. “We should be back before he wakes up.”

“I hope so, just be careful,” Midge told them as she watched everyone leave. She went to change Cletas’ diaper and his clothes for bedtime. “No worries, your mama will fight when it comes down to it. She’s got something too precious here to lose.”
