“Don’t forget to check your jewelry box,” Isaac added.

“I don’t have a —” I spun around to find a wooden box on the table. “You guys!”

My heart thumped. Part of me didn’t want to know what was inside the box. I’d never worn expensive jewelry and wasn’t sure I wanted to. What if I lostit? It felt like a huge responsibility. But the guys were watching, so I held my breath and opened the box.

Inside were a pair of diamond earrings and a diamond necklace.

“This is too much!” I lifted the necklace out of the box and tilted it under the light to see every color of the rainbow shimmer within it.

“I think it’s just right.” Wyatt climbed into my trailer to drape it around my collarbone and fasten it behind my neck.

“I feel like a princess,” I said, on the verge of tears again. “This is — thank you doesn’t seem like enough!”

“Seeing you enjoy yourself is thanks enough for the four of us.” Dean winked as he said ‘enjoy yourself,’ leaving me in no doubt about what he meant.

All of them. At once.

Excitement jolted through me as I reached for the dress.

“Why don’t I put this on so you can rip it off?”

Isaac reached up, blocking my hand with his.

“We have a movie to finish,” he said. “Besides, there will be no ripping this dress. It’s one of a kind, designed by William de Costahimself.”

“I hope you don’t mind that we asked the wardrobe department for your measurements,” Dean said. “And they were quite obliging when we told them our plan.”

“You told them we were going to have four-way sex?” I asked with a raised eyebrow, a question that made both Wyatt and Isaac grab the furniture like they were trying not to fall over, as though they couldn’t believe that someone like me would openly suggest such a thing.

“No.” Dean smiled. “Just that we were going to make it the most magical night of your life.”

The most magical night of my life. I liked the sound of that. I kissed Dean, then Wyatt, then Isaac. I wanted all three of them, right here, right now, but Isaac was right — we had a movie to finish.

We walked back to the set together and filmed our final scenes. When Preston called out, “That’s a wrap!” everyone cheered, champagne corks popped, the sound guys played music through their amps, and we basked in the knowledge that the movie was finished.

“How are you feeling?” April asked between mingling with the other extras.

“Everything,” I said honestly, not even sure how to describe the avalanche of emotions that were flooding through me. There was excitement about the wrap party, fear that I was going to lose the guys, uncertainty about my own career, a sense of loss when I thought about returning to the cafe next week… and above it all, happiness that I’d completed the movie without being fired or replaced.

For the first time in my life, I’d achieved something big.

April and I were halfway through getting ready for the wrap party when there was an unexpected knock on the door.

“I’ll get that.” I placed my hairbrush back on my dresser. “It’s probably the guys trying to convince me to ride with them.”

They’d been texting me all afternoon. We’ve got a spare seat in our limo, Wyatt teased, as I prepared snacks that we could eat as we did our hair and makeup, but I held firm. I’d already planned to travel with April and some other extras, in a car the production company hired for us.

The party was being held in a hotel in the city, not the same one we’d stayed in after our night at the theater, but no less fancy. My plan was to wait until everyone else had arrived and then make a grand entrance in my beautiful dress, and see all three guys’ jaws drop.

My own Cinderella moment.

I want to make you wait, I replied.

That’s not fair, Wyatt complained, but I grinned and turned my phone off so I wouldn’t be tempted to check it again.
