She nods, and I answer the call. “Who’s this?”
“You know who the fuck it is.” I grin ear to ear. “You aren’t going to marry her,” he barks.

I take a deep breath, he will not rattle me. I smile and pull the phone from my ear and hit speakerphone.
“Do you seriously think I’m going to step aside and let you eat my lunch?” he says.
