Goosebumps rippled north, lighting up every inch of my legs and setting off tingles between my thighs. I swallowed and reminded myself that I’d felt Will’s skin on mine a thousand times. “Bullshit. Andwhat?”
His jaw muscles feathered with tension. “I’m fuckingfrustrated.”

There was a good chance Will wasn’t talking about the kind of frustration he’d made me think about, but suddenly, I was curious about the last time he’d taken a girl home. “How long has it been?”
He furrowed his brow. “Since what?”
I lifted a coy eyebrow. “Since you weren’tfrustrated?”
“Ah.” Will huffed out a laugh. “You want to know the last time I had sex?” I tilted my head expectantly, and he squinted up at the dark ceiling as if trying to work out the maths. “With someone other than myself… four months.”
I choked on my cocktail, and he rolled his eyes as I coughed and wiped my mouth. “Will Kidd hasn’t had a good time in fourmonths?”
“I’ve been busy with the bar.” He shrugged and took a sip of his beer before looking at me sideways. “When was the last time for you?”
I scoffed quietly and concentrated on the glass in my hand. “Let’s just say I’m about twice as frustrated as you.”
Will’s eyebrows shot up. “You’re joking.”
“Shut up.” I shoved at his thigh with my heel, and he captured my ankle again with a laugh.
“Sorry. Didn’t mean to insult you.”
I glowered at him. “It’s not like I haven’t had opportunities, all right? I’ve had plenty. I’m just more selective these days.” I lifted my nose in the air. “Only the best from now on.”
Will’s fingers tightened around my legs, and he waited until I’d met his gaze before he lowered his voice and said, “You haven’t had the best until you’ve had me.”
The glass mouth of my bottle froze on my bottom lip. I needed a smart retort.Faster, brain!But the sex in his eyes broke me, and all I could do was stare.
Will grinned, then rested his head on the back of the sofa again and closed his eyes. “Christ, Ellison. I miss sex.”
I took a sip of my drink as my heart raced. “Amen to that.”
He rolled his head to look at me, and his smile set off his dimples. “You’re frustrated. I’m frustrated. Seems to me there’s an obvious solution to our problem.”
I didn’t know how much longer I could say no to this man. I was one proposition away from unzipping his pants with my teeth, but still, I summoned up my best withering stare.
“You couldn’t handle me, Kidd.”
Will wiggled his eyebrows. “Try me.”
Please don’t tempt me. Please don’t tempt me.
“No.”
He straightened and leaned towards me, a slow smile spreading across his face. “Did you hesitate, Ellison?”
I snorted, but a warm flush was creeping up my neck. “Ah,no.”
“Oh, I think you did.”
Will leaned forward, reached around to the back of his shirt, and pulled it off over his head. His dimple danced as he read the arousal on my face. “Ready to try me now?”
I swallowed and willed myself to look nowhere other than his eyes. “No.”
“Hm.”
