I’ve honestly missed the hell out of her this past week. The girls too although they’ve sent me a ton of pictures of what they’ve been working on.

I can’t wait to get back and see it all in person.

I’m becoming extremely attached to all of them. I spend more time with them than I do at the clubhouse and it puts all kinds of thoughts into my head.

Thoughts of coming home to them at the end of the day, listening to the girls tell me all about school and Andi being there with welcoming arms at night.

A family.

A ready made one but I could love those girls as my own.

Regardless of not having been in their lives like a proper adopted Uncle, I see us as family anyway. I can’t regret having left though. My brothers in my club are as close to me as any family could be and I can’t regret having them in my life all these years.

The entire club would welcome the girls and Andi with open arms. All the women already have and if she has their stamp of approval, everyone else would fall in line.

Mina would make sure of it. She runs a tight ship when it comes to our MC family and doesn’t take anyone’s shit. Not even from the Prez.

The twins already call Mina their Aunt. They both have a sweet way about them but you can tell they’d turn mean as snakes if provoked. It’s all in their eyes.

Their eyes are... “Holy fuck.” I breathe out into the dark of my room.

It couldn’t be. Could it?

Andi

I woke up this morning to a text from Gabe saying they’d be heading back home today. Even though I’d like to hear his voice, I’m kind of glad he didn’t call.

Our last several conversations have been short. Mostly because I’m extremely nervous about all the news that I need to give to him. Half of it is something that is extremely overdue.

“Did you call and make yourself an appointment?” Mom asks, walking into the kitchen.

“Not yet.” I continue washing the dishes from the kids' lunch.

“You don’t need to wait too long. You remember how bad your blood pressure was when you were pregnant with the girls.”

“You’re pregnant?” Mina’s voice causes me to jump, dropping the pan I was holding with a clang.

“Mina. We didn’t hear you come in.” I look at mom with wide eyes.

“Clearly.” She says with a grin, walking further into the room. “I came by to see if the girls wanted to go to the movies with my hellions.”

“Are you sure you can handle all the kids at the movie theaters by yourself?” I’m glad for the change in subject as I don’t want to answer any questions. At least not until I get the nerve to tell Gabe.

“Oh, I’m not taking them. The prospects are taking them and the whole theater has been rented just for them. Everyone’s kids are going.” She grins wickedly.

“What did the prospects do that needed that kind of punishment?” I laugh, turning fully to her.

“What are prospects?” Mom asks, clearly confused.

“They mowed down wild rose bushes out by the fence line.” She answers me before turning to my mom. “They’re part of the motorcycle club. Kind of like the little brothers that have to do all the dirty work until they’ve proven themselves worthy to wear a patch.” Mina explains.

“A patch?”

Laughing, I shake my head at mom, “I’ll try to explain it all to you later.”

“Well then, I’m going outside to check on the kids. I’ll come back when you two aren’t speaking in some kind of code.”

She walks out of the room mumbling under her breath making us laugh.
