In an instant, both of their eyes were fixed on me, arrogance falling away from Flynn’s expression, the smile vanishing from Gareth’s.

This… This was a mistake.

They were so close. Their scents were here just like they had been.

Flynn’s teeth threatened a dark bond. Gareth was filming me. Eric’s weight pinned me to the bed as he took his time searching for another place to sink his teeth.

Panic rose its ugly head, but then Ransom’s arm was around my waist. Their scents were here.

I was here with my pack.

My family.

My best friend.

I had claimed everything I had come here for, and I had done it without them.

“No.”Flynn’s growl was low and furious, and in his expression was more rage than I had imagined.

He looked sick with it.

I shrank back. Ransom’s arm dropped, but immediately I felt Dusk there, pulling me a step away.

“She’s ours.” There was something truly hateful in Flynn’s eyes. It was more than hateful, it was… it was desperate. There was madness in that gaze as it darted from me, up to Dusk. A chill skittered down my spine at his words.

“She’souromega,” Ransom growled. “You will not touch her.”

“She’s our mate?—!”

“You hurt me.” My whisper was harsh as my mind went numb. “You… You left me with scars and told me no one would ever want me again.” My voice shook, my eyes burning, but I blinked the tears away.

I hadn’t cried in front of them then, I wouldn’t now.

“We didn’tknowyou were gold pack,” Gareth hissed. “You hid your eyes.”

Hiding my golden eyes was illegal, but the dark bond on my neck neutralised the penalties for that.

“What is that supposed to mean?” Roxy demanded. I glanced at her, grateful she was at my side right now.

Eric had a nasty look on his face, but Flynn spoke before he could.

“We’ll take her back.” His voice was icy as he looked at Ransom. “What’s your price?”

My lips parted in shock.

Flynn wasn’t looking at me though, as he adjusted his cuff, dark eyes fixed on my alpha as if I didn’t exist.

“Price?”Ransom asked, sounding as stunned as I felt.

“What do you want us to say?” Flynn asked. “Well played. You won.”

“Won?” Ransom asked.

On pure instinct, I stepped closer to him, heart racing like a hummingbird in my chest as I stared between my mates.

Flynn looked at Dusk. “You knew she was ours, and you hid her from us. When she tried to escape and we didn’t save her, you bonded her.”

I frowned.Save me?But then I remembered what I overheard Jasmine saying. That she believed the Kingsman pack had been toying with me.
