“Sore?” he asked. “I should fucking take it easy on your perfect little pussy.”

“Never too sore for you.” He rolled me over, and his body hovered over me.

“Can’t hurt my girl,” he muttered, then his lips found mine.

I loved kissing Aiden.

Nothing in the world existed but the two of us. When he pulled away, his mouth didn’t stop. His lips made their way down my body. I felt like a goddess when he did this. We’d been together for four weeks.

Over a month of the most amazing weeks of my life, and that was saying something since we’d just come back from our time in Europe.

Over thirty days of being a couple.

An official one.

Our moms were ecstatic, going as far as high-fiving one another at the gingerbread house decorating party my sister Ruth had hosted. Not to be outdone, the next weekend, we’d been dragged to Aria’s place to an ornament making party, where, surrounded by both our families and friends, we each made our first Christmas ornament for one another. Mine washung up on the tree he still had up in the corner of his bedroom, and the one he’d made for me hung off the vanity in my bedroom.

“What are you thinking about?” he huskily asked his lips pressed a kiss at the top of my thighs. I squirmed.

“About us.” His head tilted, and despite the darkness, I could read the curiosity in his eyes. “We’re good, right?” I hated how insecure I sounded.

“Of course, we’re good.” He smiled as he hitched my leg over his shoulder. “You’re about to be even better.”

And he wasn’t wrong about that.

He ate me like a man who had been on a forty-day fast, and just as I was about to shatter, he pulled away and covered my body with his, sinking into me slowly. My body clung to his as he made love to me, and before I knew it, we were both coming at the same time, looking into one another’s eyes as he filled my body with his release. When his softening length slipped out of me, the trickle of his release coated the inside of my thighs.

It should freak me out.

We were being careless.

Risking our futures by not being safe. But for some reason, the idea of a baby with Aiden didn’t scare me.

It felt right.

Like the best idea ever.

And I knew he agreed when he rolled to my side, but his hand moved between my legs and felt his seed seeping out of me.

“I like you wearing me,” he admitted gruffly, and I sighed happily. Between the amazing orgasm and sleepiness that was starting to take me under, I was more than content.

“I like wearing you,” I shared with a soft yawn. “Let me go clean?—”

“No.” He shook his head. “I got it. You’re mine to take care of, Gem.”

“You know I could?—"

“I know,” he cut me off again, and I could tell by his tone that he wasn’t going to drop it.

“Okay,” I whispered. He kissed my lips and hurried to do what he’d said he would. He always did. Aiden was a man of his word, always had been.

I yawned when he returned, felt the dip of the mattress, and he cleaned me before tucking me into his side.

“Hey, Gem,” he called out as his hands stroked the top of my head, making my eyes grow heavier.

“Yeah?”

“I love you.”
