Lunch soon?

Yes! Literally about to board a flight to Mykonos.

I’ll let you know when we’re back.

Love it! Have the best time.

We will. TK says hi.

A sigh of relief eased out of her chest. Marcos didn’t hate her, thank god. The guilt lifted a little, knowing that he was busy living his life with his wonderful husband, even though Meegan had kinda disappeared. She made a mental note to actually set up a lunch with him when he was back in the country. She switched back to the messages she’d sent to Daniel. Her stuff with just Marcos was pretty great, but there were some real gems in the Daniel archive.

Meegan started the engine and just as she was about to say fuck it, her phone started ringing with a call from the man in question.

“Hey,” Meegan answered, her voice sounding weirdly high. She was nervous for a few reasons.

“Hey, sorry, my hand is full. What’s up, gorgeous? You wanna share some of our scenes?”

“Yes, with Olin. We’re trying things out. I’m heading over to his place now, but I wanted your okay to show him a few segments. I was thinking of one of our spanking training videos, the scene from my twenty-eighth birthday and the pink room scene.”

“I would say yes to the birthday scene. Yes to all the training that’s just the two of us and anywhere Keira is in costume. She wants everyone to see those,” Daniel laughed. His wife loved to role play. “No to the pink room. Shep is in it.”

“Right. Shit.” Shep was extremely private, which, of course, was his right. He had only given viewing rights to his archive to the people involved in scenes with him and now Keira as co-owner of The Club. “Okay, how about crop 101? I came my brains out and I do think Olin should see how heavy things can get.”

“Agreed. Show him that one.”

“You’re the best. Thank you.”

“You’re more than welcome. Speaking of Shep, he’s coming into town next week. We might get lunch, if you want to come.”

That gave Meegan pause. The complicated feelings were still there, but it wouldn’t hurt her to at least say hello. “Uh, yeah. Let me know what you guys decide to do.”

“I know you gotta go, but just tell me if he’s treating you right.”

“He is. Princess-level treatment, I promise.”

“Okay. If that changes, you tell me. I’ll beat him up so good.”

“You’re sweet. I’ll see you and K tomorrow night?” Meegan asked.

“Wouldn’t miss it. She asked me to make pizza, so I will be at your service.”

“Ooh, you know I love it when you talk dirty.”

Daniel made a playful growling noise and ended the call. Shaking her head, Meegan finally turned on her car and made her way over to Olin’s.

Meegan had been to Venice Beach plenty of times, but she’d never set foot in the canals. She could only imagine what it cost to buy a house in the historic, man-made waterfront district. Something told her Olin had already recovered from the purchase. Driving down an unfamiliar, tree-shrouded street, still close to the beach, she followed Olin’s directions and pulled down the wide alley behind his house. For a quick moment, she thought this was surely a set up and she was about to be TAKEN, but as she got about three-quarters of the way down, she saw Olin step out from a garage on the right.

She felt her cheeks warm as he lifted his hand in a little wave. Meegan slowed her car and rolled down her window as he stepped around to the driver’s side. “Hi,” she said, unable to keep the smile off of her face.

“Hey. You can pull in right there.” He motioned to the empty spot next to his Mercedes and one of those Rivian SUVs. Meegan pulled in and by the time she’d climbed out with her bag, Olin was waiting for her on the top step leading into the house.

“I brought a couple things with me, just in case I stay late. Like, tomorrow morning late.”

“Nothing wrong with planning ahead,” Olin said as she joined him on the step. He smelled nice, like fresh soap. The thought felt silly when it crossed her mind, but she liked being close to the heat of him. Maybe that’s why she couldn’t even make it twelve hours before wanting to see him again. He opened the door for her to step inside, but neither of them moved. She looked up into his soft brown eyes, trying to read his mind.
