“Something like that.” He ran a thumb over her bottom lip. “I hope this isn’t too much too soon but...I love you, Liv. I don’t ever want to let you go.”

Tears slipped from her eyes. “I love you, too. And you already know I’m yours.”

Brushing the hair out of her face, Aiden leaned down to skim his lips against hers. “Come on, love. Let’s go home.”

EPILOGUE

Olivia

Six Months Later

“Shit.” Olivia threw her car into park and turned off the ignition. The clock read 4:59, and Aiden had told her to be at the Manor no later than five if she wanted to avoid a punishment.

The last thing she wanted on her own birthday was a real punishment.

She ran toward the front door, praying there wasn’t any ice on the pathway, still fighting her disappointment that Aiden had needed to work all afternoon. Her birthday had fallen on a Sunday this year, so would it have really been so hard to have his newest guest check in on Monday instead? And he even wanted her to meet him at the Manor. As far as she was concerned, they spent enough of their time at work as it was.

Though Aiden had cut back a lot, wanting to spend more time with her; most of his guests booked for five days now instead of seven, and he never spent the night at the Manor, no matter what.

At first, Olivia had been worried she’d get jealous when he went off to work. That she’d sit at home in their cabin, stewing about the women he was fucking and spanking instead of her.

She’d told him she wouldn’t, of course. She’d even believed it at the time. It still came as one hell of a relief when it turned out to actually be true.

The first time he’d headed off to work and left her behind, she’d spent half the day imagining what he was up to, unable to stop touching herself. When he got home, Aiden had given her ten with a paddle for each and every orgasm she’d had without his permission, and then fucked her senseless.

As for Olivia, her lifetime ban from Fairford Manor had lasted about the lifespan of a gnat. She was now their official accountant and bookkeeper—something that made Zach extremely happy, as his relationship with math was patchy at best. She’d even been a third in a couple of scenes, which had been spectacularly thrilling to say the least.

The last six months had been more wonderful than she could’ve possibly hoped. Her only complaints had to do with Aiden abandoning her for several hours on her birthday—and that the parking lot was so fucking far from the front door. Olivia was gasping for breath as she bounded up the front steps and into the lobby.

“Just in time,” Zach said, giving his watch a pointed look.

“Tell him,” Olivia said, pausing to suck more air into her lungs while she hung up her coat. She moved farther away from the front door, trying to rub some life back into her freezing arms. It was only a few degrees above zero out there. “Tell him I wasn’t late.”

Shoulders shaking with silent laughter, Zach fished his phone out of his pocket and shot off a text. “There,” he said. “You’re safe.”

“Thanks.” She flashed him a grateful smile. “You’re the best.”

Zach’s answering grin was full of mischief. “You’d better hurry up anyway. You know they don’t like to be kept waiting.”

Her eyebrows shot upward at the speed of light. “They?”

He gave her something resembling an apologetic smile, though he obviously didn’t feel bad in the least. “Sorry, honey. I promised not to say a word.” He winked at her. “They’re in the game room.”

“Oh, no.” She planted her hands on her hips. “If this was a party, you’d be staying. I want to know what Aiden’s got planned.” When he didn’t respond, she added, “You may have known them longer, but you know mebetter.” None of the Doms had even gotten to know Zach well enough to realize he was gay, for fuck’s sake. Though Mason swore he’d suspected.

But it was no use. With one final, downright evil grin, he grabbed his wool peacoat and waltzed out the front door, calling, “Enjoy your birthday!” over his shoulder.

“Motherfucker,” she muttered under her breath, gazing after him. He could’ve at least given her a tiny little clue.

Oh, well. Even with Zach’s text, she didn’t want to push her luck by taking her time. Straightening the red satin of her dress and running her fingers once through her wild mane of hair, she set off down the back hallway.

The clack of pool balls and murmur of voices drifted down the hall, reaching her ears well before she reached the doorway. If only she hadn’t worn heels. It would’ve been nice to take a second to steel her nerves, but there was no way they hadn’t heard her coming. With a final deep breath, she stepped into the room.

“Oh, fuck.” The words were out of her mouth before she could stop them.

Five pairs of eyes turned in her direction at once.

“That better not be disappointment I hear,” Camden said, grinning at her. The other four seemed less amused by her entrance.
