I wave her off, trying to get control of the conversation back. “The appointment went fine,” I say firmly, fighting back my laughter. “I’m officially mentally stable or whatever.”
“I wouldn’t say all that,” Ax snorts, and I glare at the back of his head.
“That’s awesome!” Eli smiles and Asher pulls me into a hug.
It falls silent as Eli and Asher both eye me as though waiting for something. “What?” I ask nervously.
Eli raises an eyebrow at me. “Was there anything else?”
I glare at Ax who barely glances over his shoulder at me. “They already knew, you asshole!”
He laughs and when he turns back to the water I rush forward to push him into the pool. He comes back up and gives me a dirty look. “Bitch,” he mutters and I just roll my eyes.
“Who wants to fill me in?” Bianca asks and I sigh.
“We found a bunch of money in her name that her dad hadn’t told her about. Your dad got it all sorted,” Asher says grinning proudly.
“You rich, bitch?” Bianca asks, laughing.
“Uh…” I hesitate and they stare at me confused. “I may have donated it all.”
Bianca’s face falls as the guys look at me in shock.
“Don’t look at me like that,” I groan as I walk away to grab myself a beer from the cooler. “I didn’t want that money.”
“I get that,” Bianca says, shrugging. “Where’d you donate it?”
“Here and there,” I mutter and Ax snorts.
He stands by the hot tub with his arms crossed against his chest. If he didn’t look so amazing with the water dripping down his bare chest, I’d kill him.
“She donated it to the Hillswood Women's Shelter,” he announces.
“You ass. So much for keeping it to yourself.”
He glances at Eli then looks me up and down. “My bad. Guess I'm just a little too loud.”
My face flames red again.
“Alright, enough of this bullshit. What’s going on?” Bianca asks, eyeing me. “Why are you as red as a tomato?”
Eli starts laughing as he must have finally caught on and I glare at him. Asher raises an eyebrow - confused. “Beats me. What’s so embarrassing about talking loud?”
Ax snickers. “Nothing at all. Some people are naturally just louder—”
“I will murder you right here, James Axel!”
He glares at my use of his full name and Bianca’s mouth drops. “Did you get laid! By who?”
“Way to go Kate!” Scott says, holding a hand up to high five me.
I shake my head at his laughter. “You guys are gross. I'm not high fiving you and I didn’t get laid.”
“Just had a mind blowing orgasm,” Eli whispers in my ear.
By whisper I mean he’s a piece of shit and everyone hears.
Bianca screeches in excitement and climbs out of the hot tub. “Bye boys! Time to get all the details!”
