“Sean,” I whispered, running my hands up his back.

He sighed and slowly sat up. Sated, beautiful oceans of blue tempted me to sink beneath the surface of his soul. “I know, Teach. You just…what you said…” He swallowed hard and climbed off my lap, leaving me cold regardless of my hard cock throbbing between my thighs. “I won’t apologize.”

“Neither will I,” I murmured, adjusting my aching length.

A slow smirk curled his lips but more from inner pleasure than flirting. “You make me feel things. Good things. And someday soon, this semester will end, and there’ll be no stopping the collision course we’re on.” He turned to leave.

“About that.”

He paused, glancing over his shoulder.

“You’re right—we can do this, but I won’t. Not here on campus. Please, Sean. It would be best to wait until you’re no longer my student. I’m begging you to not tempt me again past what I can handle.”

His jaw worked as he struggled to accept the boundary I set between us, and even though he eventually nodded, I didn’t trust him to respect my wishes. He hadn’t been able to prove he could thus far.

I tipped my head back against my chair and watched him pick up his bag he’d dropped beside the chair opposite my desk. At the door, he grimaced even though that damned glint lit his eyes. “Thanks for the orgasm at least.”

“You’re welcome,” I teased, withholding my smirk at the thought of his groin covered in cold goo—but he’d asked for it.

Sean huffed, obviously hesitant to leave. “Damnit, Matteo.”

“Go home. Rest.”

“I’ve got too much studying to do.”

Lips pursed, I nodded. My little speech obviously hadn’t changed his mind about dropping out of college, but I hoped the words would echo in his mind in the days to come when he felt overwhelmed again.

“See ya around, Teach.”

I nodded and closed my eyes as the door shut behind his fine ass I wanted to feel in my hands again.

Hanson walked back in a few seconds later, too soon for me to gather my thoughts on what to say to him but long enough my erection ebbed. I’d assumed he had slipped off to allow Sean and I time to finish, so his reappearance didn’t catch me off guard at least. “I forgot my briefcase,” he explained, returning to the office when he had class starting in a few minutes. “Are you okay?”

Exhaling slowly, I forced my eyelids up to face my friend. “Better than.”

He studied my face while retrieving his bag from behind his desk. “Should I be worried?”

I rubbed a hand over my scruff. “I told him we had to wait until the semester ends, but I can’t say no to him. He throws himself at me, and I’m powerless against the draw. He’s given me something I never expected to find again after I lost Katie, and denying those feelings, those needs…” I shook my head, at a loss for words. I wanted to be strong, but goddamnit, that boy made choosing right near impossible.

“Please be careful,” Hanson urged, heading once more toward the door. “Maybe keep these little trysts to places off campus. Meet at your house instead—or you go to his. Crossing lines here is dangerous, and while I have your back, I would really rather not be in the position where I would have to lie about my knowledge of this situation.”

I nodded my agreement. I wouldn’t expect him to put me above his job, nor would I ask him to, but he had a point. “No more in-office shenanigans. Promise.”

“Thank you.”

My friend left me for his next class, and since I didn’t have one until later in the afternoon, I pulled out my cell and called my little sister.

“What’s wrong?” Alessia answered with rather than saying hello.

I laughed for the second time in one day.

“Oh my God. Who is this, and where is my brother?” she demanded.

“It’s me, and I’m fine.”

“Well, it’s about fucking time,” she stated with a rushed exhale as though she’d been holding her breath for me for the previous three years. Knowing her adoration for me, I wasn’t surprised at her obvious relief. “Who is she, and when do I get to meet her?”

“What makes you think someone has caught my eye?”
