Throwing an arm around his shoulder, I offer him some support. “You want to tell him?” I cock an eyebrow at Greg expectantly.

“I..I didn’t. It’s not what it looks like okay. I was just trying to knock some sense into you.”

Adrian’s eyes bounce between me and his father before understanding dawns on him.

“What did you do?” I can feel his body begin to shake, so I hold him a little closer. Killing a parent is not an easy thing to do. As much as I am glad my father is in the ground, the memory still haunts me sometimes when I least expect it. I don’t want Adrian to act out of shock, he deserves to have time to plan this out. Besides, we can keep Greg here for weeks in one of the cells if needed.

“I…I…” his mouth opens and shuts, unable to face what he has done or just unable to admit it. Either way, I’m done playing games.

“Greg here decided to send a man here in an attempt to kill Akio.”

Adrian’s hands curl into fists. “Who the fuck is Greg?” he asks. I gesture to his father.

Keeping up with names is too difficult. My brain has much more important information to store like; peanuts are one of the ingredients in dynamite, so if you have a peanut allergy you should steer clear of that stuff. And sharks are the only fish that can blink with both eyes at the same time.

Oh, and I can’t forget the worst one of them all. It’s impossible for a crocodile to stick out his tongue. Poor things will never be able to give that classic outward expression of frustration. I’m pissed for them.

“He was just supposed to scare him so you would break up and come home.”

Adrian closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He’s like a much calmer version of Alexi. I drop my arm when he moves to lean towards his father.

“I’ll never come home. In fact, neither will you.” Standing to his full height, he sneers down at his father. “The day you told me I was confused, I vowed to never come back. But now that you’ve tried to hurt the man I love…”

“There is something wrong with that child's head, and we both know it. You should be nowhere near someone like that. It’s a dis…”

Before he can finish his sentence, Adrian lands a hit so hard to the center of his face that the chair tips backward, cracking his head across the pavement in a beautiful double whammy.

Blood spews from Greg like a fountain as he sputters, trying to expel it while tied down and choking.

“Thatmanis everything I could have ever asked for. He makes me happy and keeps me safe. He loves me for who I am. There isnothingwrong with him. And you crossed the wrong people by coming here. I won’t be the one to kill you, Father. That would be too easy on you, but you’ll never leave this place. I’m sure a lot of our newfound family will have something to say to you.”

Adrian stands, adjusting his sleeve so that his father's blood shines proudly for all to see. “For now, you can rot in here and think about who is confused in this situation.”

Is this what it feels like to be a proud daddy? Because that’s how I feel at the moment. Adrian nods to me, and we fist bump before he leaves. Carefully, I lift up Greg’s chair and nod to my men in the back of the room.

“Looks like this one will be staying with us for a while, gentlemen. Be sure to give him theroyaltreatment.”

???

After cleaning up, I make my way to the bar to find Lev intently watching our new male stripper. He flips upside down on the poll, legs spread wide, and junk flopping out for all to see.

Don’t get me wrong, I used to be up there doing the same thing once upon a time in an attempt to earn my independence from my father, but seeing this guy just pisses me off. Sure, his form is perfect and he’s got a tight ass, but the moves are basic.

He slides down the pole, landing in the splits before grinding onto the stage as the song begins to wrap up. I stride over to Lev, whose eyes are glued to the stage as if he were witnessing something miraculous instead of sub-par entertainment.

I close in on him, standing nearly flush with his back and clear my throat. Does my fucker of a husband even move? Not a damn inch.

Wrapping my hand around the nape of his neck, I grip it hard, forcing him to turn.

“Eyes on me.” My voice is rough. Demanding.Dominant.

I watch as Lev startles before his cheeks pinken, knowing he’s been caught. Before he can say a word, I grab his arm and haul him off the stool to a room upstairs. No sound leaves his lipswhen I slam him up against the wall right by the door to our suite for the night.

Hooded eyes meet my gaze as they wander over my face.

“Did you see something you like?” I ask, pressing my straining cock against him.

“I do now,” he answers smugly.
