I shake my head crying, he slaps me across my cheek. My face hitting the cold metal floors as a cry escaped my lips, “I will burn you alive for everything you did" I threaten him holding back anymore tears that threatened to fall. My cheek stinging as I watched his face grow cold, "I will make you fucking burn as I set you on fire like you set my soul on fire." I yelled trying to get him off me.
“You will one day be under my power, and it'll be too late for you. I just need to break you, break you to the point of no return" he yelled like he was trying to make someone else hear what he was saying. I shook my head "you'll never break me" I hissed determined "you might think you broke me, but I'll fix myself. I'll be back and when I am you're dead”.
He slaps me across the face, punching me repeatedly in the stomach. Ripping my pants off, I let out a scream. A cry of panic, screaming, shouting, yelling, screeching. "PAPA! MAMA! HELP ME PLEASE" I cried looking up, hoping they could hear my cry for help. I shook my head my eyes shut, "look away please" I cried out. Not wanting them to see this hoping if they can hear me or see me. They would look elsewhere. Protect Maria, it's too late for me now.
END OF FLASHBACK
Vincenzo hugged me close to his chest, I clung to him like a baby. My whole body trembled. Vincenzo took me out of the clinic and sat me on the grass outside, he calmly hugged me closer to him. Tightening his embrace around me, “I've got you.” He reassured me putting his cheek on my head, “no one can hurt you as long as I've got you” He whispered. I cried out holding onto him feeling relived, calm and grateful for Vincenzo.

After a while I finally calmed down, I eased my grip around Vincenzo but still hung onto him not ready to fully let go. “I want him dead” my voice coming out horse, but stern.
“Just name him” he quickly responded. I lifted my head up looking at him.
“You would really kill for me?” I asked shocked at his fast response. “I would give you the world all you have to do is ask and its yours” he whispered. I sat there looking at him clinging to every word, “You want someone dead? Done.” He kissed the top of my head. “You want to explore the world? Done.” another kiss, “You want to be the only three people alive? Fucking done.” Another kiss.
“If you want to watch the world burn?” I smiled “You'd burn it?” I asked him. He leaned back still holding me, he smirked looking down “No. I'd hand you the match and watch you set the world on fire as it did you. I'd proudly watch you become queen of all that has fallen.” He smiled looking down at me, and for once for a split second. It felt like I was back, back at the horse ranch. “Give me the name” he sternly spoke cutting me out of my daydream. “Xavier” I spoke out, he nodded his head. “Done” he stood up, "where are you going?" I questioned running after him. “To get him for you, because you're going to be the one to end him that was always the plan” he stated.
I stopped in front of him causing him to come to a halt, "the plan?" I questioned. "I always planned to bring him to you, to make him cower at your feet. No one touches you and gets away with it ... But this one, I'll let you deal with" he puts his anger and thirst for revenge aside letting me take full control. I smiled “don't be silly, we can set him on fire together” I smirk. He looks at me shaking his head "what a plot twist you are Isabella Knight”.
I go to reply before my eyes land on the men now chasing Ariana around the estate garden trying to get Dante off her. I laughed shaking my head, Vincenzo turned to see what I was laughing at. His eyes widened seeing them running around with Dante. "ARIANA" He yelled, they all came to a halt “Vincenzo it's okay, look Dante's laughing” I pointed out Dante's wide grin. “I don't think I have ever seen him that- and he's gone” I throw my hand up looking at the smoke coming out of Vincenzo ears.
I rush after him, his men and Ariana stand still watching him holding Dante, he takes him out of the seat holding him in his arms “Hey buddy did you get bigger?” he asks him analysing him as he held up him. I stood there watching him.
“Isabella, does he look dizzy to you?” he asks me.
“He looks like he's going to throw up. Maybe we should take him to the doctors" I shook my head rolling my eyes.
“Vincenzo, babies spit up its normal and Dante is looking at you smiling” I point out, he looks back at Dante smiling.
“You're bored back at home with mum, aren’t you? You like the action like your dad huh?” He laughed. They all watched Vincenzo in awe, “who knew?” Hacker cried out, whipping a fake tear from under his eyes.
“Our boy's a dad, AND A FUCKING GOOD ONE” He buried his head in bullseye’s chest fake crying. The rest of the men joined all hugging bullseye fake crying at the sight of Vincenzo being a dad. I laughed shaking my head, Dante turned his head towards them and let out a giggle. “OH MY GOD,” I squealed hearing his laugh. I stood in front of him, “they're silly huh?” I baby talked, “a little stupid but funny” I smiled wide nodding my head, “do you wanna stay here for the night?” I asked him, he smiled slightly jumping back. I laughed, looking up at Vincenzo he looked at me with a wide smile, “really?” I sighed nodding my head.
“I think he likes it more here” I admit smiling. “It's just for the night, I'll see how I go” I quickly point out. He nods his head. "OH MY GOD! Dante is having a sleepover with the guys” the boys cheered, I raised an eyebrow at them “he's sleeping with me, but in the morning you're more than welcome to take him while I sleep in” I shrugged my shoulders.
"Fine but if you see a shadow ... or two ... or eight creep inside the room in the middle of the night. Don't scream you'll wake up the baby" Hacker scratched the back of his neck sheepishly smiling at me.
I shook my head "and if I stab or shoot at these 'shadows' don't scream you'll wake up baby" I whispered in a hush mocking tone.
“Okay, so no sleepwalking” Bullseye snapped his fingers. I shook my head smiling “Isabella is definitely back on the estate.” Hacker smiles shaking his head at my threat, “you all missed me don't lie” I smiled.
“Isabella!” Lorenzo yelled rushing towards me, I turned to look at him. “What's wrong?” I rushed out, he came in between me and Vincenzo indicating for the both of us to look at his screen. It was the surveillance cameras for the house, my eyes widen seeing Xavier and his men surrounding the area, "I KNOW YOU TOOK THEM, WHERE ARE THEY?" He roars, I look at Vincenzo worried then back at the screen. "I'm coming for you Dragon, you and dragon junior" He smirked holding up one of Dante's shirts.
My chest rose and fell, my hands balled into a fist. "Burn it" he instructed his men, and within seconds his men went to the house to lit it on fire burning it to the floor. Lorenzo shut the iPad and looked at us “Isabella I'm so sorry" He apologised knowing how much that house meant to me. I shook my head “Fuck the house right now, he knows about Dante”.
I never saw Vincenzo this mad in my years of knowing him, his body completely tensed. His jaw clenched. His eyes were as dark as the night. His face ... his face was dangerously tensed you could see his veins popping out from his neck and forehead.
"You both stay here from now on." He ordered, I nodded my head knowing it was the safest option. "Men." He called for his men, soon enough we were surrounded "our main mission." He handed Dante over to me to not scare him, Vincenzo was still fuming at the idea of anyone touching us.
He looked back at everyone who gathered around, "Kill Xavier and wipe out his entire fucking line" He spat.
THE SANCTUARY
Isabella’s POV
It took Vincenzo three months to find us a new sanctuary, a new home and I couldn’t believe it. I stood there frozen almost not wanting to believe what I saw on the security footage, not wanting to believe that we weren't safe. Not wanting to believe that the only shred of the old Vincenzo I had left was burnt to the ground. I refuse to believe any of it.
