“It’s inhumane!” she shouted failing miserably to plea her case.
“Just as throwing your daughter into the hands of a man who will deliberately torture her both emotionally and mentally! Forcing her to feel so numb and desperate to any kind of human touch and affection that she works side by side for the very man who broke her. All because of some stupid revenge that began long before they were born. That’s. Inhumane.” Wincing at her words my heart twisted in agony for my sister.
“You both were never emotionally scarred or sick … but you will be.”
“Oh, they’re dead” I shook my head knowing once Isabella threatens, she will always uphold her threat, “make them rot in hell hermona” I whispered in her ear.

Isabella’s POV
Lorenzo and I were making our way to the elevators going to the private sector of the hospital reserved for the Kings, the elevator doors dinged and immediately I had an unsettling feeling settle in my gut, and I knew something is off. “Lorenzo” I called out and he nodded his head “I know I have a bad feeling as well.” We walked out of the elevator not seeing anyone on the floor, nor seeing any of our men outside Vincenzo’s room. Without even thinking I ran straight towards Vincenzo’s room, freezing in my spot I see Xavier looming over him as he laid sound asleep unaware of what’s happening around him.
“Isabella, how kind of you to finally join us.” He smiled analyzing me from top to bottom, I cringed watching his hungry eyes rank my body.
“How did you get up here?” I gritted through my teeth, he chuckles shaking his head “the usual way, with guns and threats” he winks getting closer to me.
I tense up but was glad he moved away from Vincenzo, I sigh and prey my eyes away from Vincenzo and look at Xavier who was a lot closer than I wanted him to be.
“What is it you want Xavier?” I sigh out exhausted of this constant battle wanting everything to just be over, but I knew it was never going to end until one of us is dead.
“I want you Isabella how is that still so unclear to you” he exclaims holding my arms.
I shook my head “why?” I never understood his fascination with me, why he wanted me so desperately, why he can’t just let me live in peace.
“Because I’m in love with you, from the very first moment I saw you Isabella you caught my attention, and you haven’t let it go since. Even when you were in that basement, I never wanted to hurt you, but I needed you to submit to me, I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to see how much I crave you. How much I want you!” I cringed thinking back to my time in the basement.
“That’s not love Xavier.”
“I will be better. I’ll show you how much I love you. I promise to prove it to you just come with me” he begged holding my hands to his chest, I sighed and yanked my hands out of his grasp.
“I will never willingly go with you Xavier.” He let out a sigh and nodded his head.
“Then I’m sorry for what’s about to come, but ill prove it to you that I’m the only man who will put you first even against my own brother” and as if a light bulb just went off in my head and realization just kicked in.
“Lorenzo” I gasped out and ran out of the room, seeing Lorenzo knocked out on the floor being dragged by Xavier’s men.
“What did you do” I spun around and watched one of his men hit me with their gun knocking me unconscious.
“He be given the ultimate ultimatum he will have to choose between the two of you and I guarantee he won’t be choosing you Isabella.”

I slowly opened my eyes, adjusting to the dim light in the room. “What … what’s happening?” I feel this roaring headache when suddenly everything that happened last night hit me like a ton of bricks. I looked around the room furious, my hands clearly chained down to the chair I was sitting in a chair that was bolted to the floor, I rolled my eyes clearly Xavier took precautions because he knew if I got out, I was going to be furious. If he thinks this is going to be a repeat of him trying to break me, he has another thing coming, “XAVIER!” I screamed on the top of my lungs waiting for him to appear like a demon.
“XAVIER GET DOWN HERE YOU COWARD!”
“Calm down amore I’m here” he rolls his eyes standing in front of me, clenching my jaw it takes every ounce of self-control not to explode.
“Where’s Lorenzo?” I question he looked at me amused.
“Alive” he vaguely answers.
“Where?”
“Somewhere”
“Xavier, I don’t care how secure you feel right now I will tear these chains off my hands and this chair off its bolts and strangle you if you don’t start talking” I warn not in the mood for his stupid games. He exhales a nervous sigh, regaining composure he rolls his eyes and huffs like a child.
