And still had plenty of stamina to give her two writhing, gasping orgasms.

A hand came down on his shoulder, jerking him from his reverie of hooking Wren’s ankles over his shoulders and pounding her into the mattress.

When he took her to work, they slipped out the back door and luckily avoided the aftereffects of the all-nighter.

With a sigh, he walked behind the bar, grabbed the trash can and started filling it with empty bottles. The beer had run out within the first two hours of the festivities, and then everyone turned to the heavier stuff.

He dropped a couple bottles into the can. Theclankroused a man lying face down on the sofa with his head pillowed on a woman’s bare thigh.

“Huh? What’s going on?” the guy mumbled.

Jennings patted him on the shoulder. “Just the cleanup crew.” He looked closer at the guy.

Damn, it was Matthews. And the woman was Tilly. Well, he must be feeling better after being shot and the ordeal of being fixed up in the clubhouse.

He’d relay the information to Wren that her patient had not only survived but lived through a drunken orgy in the prez’s honor.

After he’d cleared off about half the tables, someone called his name.

Jennings looked up to see Cole standing in the doorway.

“Come with me.” He crooked a finger.

He set down the can and followed, stepping over a guy’s legs. What the hell did Cole want from him now? If he was just sending him for more food and booze, Julius would never let him live it down, even though he wasn’t at fault for the slow grind of club crimes.

He wondered what the hell Julius did with Bones, but he didn’t have time to call and ask now.

When Jennings walked into the room, his gaze fell on the half-dozen Disciples seated at the long table.

His senses tripped. Something was going down. Either he was outed and they were going to jump him, or he was finally big-time.

“Take a seat, Jay.” Cole waved at the empty chairs.

He slid one out, scraping the feet on the floor, and sank into it.

A glance at the men showed how serious the situation was. And most of the guys had clear eyes, indicating they hadn’t drunk as much as the others.

“Down to business.” Cole took up his seat near the head of the table, but the place of honor was reserved for their president, who was not present. At this point in his illustrious career as the leader of the huge gang, he didn’t need to do the dirty work himself.

Cole looked around the table. “Here’s the plan. You and you,” he pointed to two members, “take the van.”

“Ten passenger, boss?”

“Yeah. We need the room.”

Jennings’s ears perked up, and the video film of his brain began to roll, recording every detail.

He played it cool, listening to the schedule of events. Take the van south, and leave after this meeting.

Cole passed out more jobs to the others, leaving only Jennings to question whether or not he was here to receive a duty or if he’d be handed a grocery list.

At last, Cole fixed Jennings in his gaze. “You and I will be flying to El Paso.”

He tried not to reveal any outward reaction, just waited for more information.

“We board the flight around three in the morning. It gives the guys who are driving enough of a jump. By the time we get to El Paso and do what we need to do, they’ll have the vans at the ready.”

He was strangely calm. Prepared for anything. Capable of handling every detail.
