When I think he’s going to spread more paint on my face, he dips down and grabs my ankle, lifting my foot before he spreads it along my arch. I squirm and giggle as he tickles my foot.

“I think she needs some orange,” Grady says as he hands Killian the tube of the tangerine-colored paint.

As soon as he touches the bottom of my foot again, I start fighting against Bash’s hold while giggling hysterically at the same time.

“Okay! Mercy! Mercy!”

Bash laughs. “It’s cute that you think we give anybody mercy. You commit the crime, you pay the price, Little one.”

Killian continues painting my feet while simultaneously tickling the hell out of me. The entire time I’m screeching and giggling, practically to the point of peeing myself.

“Tell us you’re sorry for tricking us,” Bash says.

“I’m sorry!” I cry out, trying to kick my foot free of Killian’s hold.

“What are you sorry for, lass?” Bash asks.

“For tricking you! I’m sorry for tricking you!”

“Say you won’t do it again,” Grady tells me.

“I won’t do it again!”

Killian looks up at me with that breathtaking smile. “Tell me I’m the most handsome man you’ve ever met.”

Bash and Grady burst out laughing while I continue to wiggle and fight. Killian’s command awakens my pussy, and my nipples harden. I lose my breath as he stares up at me with those dazzling green eyes. He is, hands down, no questions asked, the best looking man I’ve ever seen.

When I don’t say anything right away, Killian starts running his finger along my foot again, and I can’t take the torture any longer.

“You’re the most handsome man I’ve ever met!”

His smile turns triumphant, and he rises to his full height before he scoops me out of Bash’s hold and sets me on the counter near the sink. “So easy to break you, Little one.”

Bash and Grady grin, and there’s not a bit of tension in the air among the four of us. It’s like we’ve all forgotten we’re in this house because of looming danger.

Killian grabs a cloth and starts cleaning my feet.

“Sorry about your suit,” I murmur.

He shrugs. “It’s just a suit, baby. I have a whole closet full of them. I’m glad you were enjoying yourself.”

And just like that, one of the pieces of the wall I’ve put up around me crumbles to the ground.

“Hey, what are you doing?”

I glance up from my laptop and nibble on my lip. Killian’s dressed in a fresh suit and looks sexy as hell. The tattoos on his hands are the only evidence he’s not some vanilla businessman. Although, one look deep in his eyes and it’s obvious there’s nothing vanilla about him.

“Just getting caught up on work. Bash helped me connect to the internet.”

After the paint torture, I changed into a pair of soft black leggings and a pink oversized sweater. One of the major bonuses of my job is the dress code—whatever I feel like putting on for the day.

“Good. I like your sweater. It looks soft,” he says as he sits down beside me.

I’ve been in the living room for nearly an hour. The men had pretty much disappeared until now. And Killian is sitting really close. So close I can smell his aftershave. It smells so good, I want to run my tongue along his jaw.

Wait. What? I’m losing it. That is not happening.
