“That was fun,” Ivy said as she wiped tears from her eyes.

“Did you guys really put a red sock in with his whites?”Harper asked.

Remi grinned.“Actually, no.Talon did.He was getting Storm back for something. But it was fun to mess with him.”

When they finally got themselves under control, they got comfy on the floor and chatted while sneaking piece after piece of chocolate, shoving the wrappers under one of the chairs.

“We do need to figure out what book to read next for Book Club,” Remi said.

Ivy bobbed her head.“We could do the next in that series. It’s calledMaddie’s Daddy Crush.”

“Works for me.We might have to read through the author’s entire catalog.I saw she has a series calledDaddies of the Shadows, and it’s about a bunch of tattooed, overprotective, vigilante Daddies who are super badass, but also super sweet with their Littles,” Carlee added.

Harper nodded and shoved another piece of chocolate in her mouth at the same time as the other women before they shoved the wrappers under the chair.

“Well, well, well,” Levi interrupted, causing them all to squeal in surprise.

Harper spun around to find her Daddy standing in the doorway along with Steele, Atlas, and Kade, and they didn’t look pleased.

“Oh!You scared us,” Carlee said with her hand over her heart.

Atlas raised an eyebrow.“Usually, you wouldn’t be so jumpy unless you were doing something wrong. So, what were you doing wrong?”

Remi rolled her eyes.“God, my brother is so annoying. We aren’t doing anything wrong.Paranoid much?”

“Remi,” Kade growled in a low tone.

Levi stared down at Harper, his eyes sparkling with promise.A promise she wasn’t so sure she was ready for.

She glanced at the men’s legs.Could she make a run for it and squeeze between them?

“Don’t even think about running, kitten,” Levi warned.

A shiver ran through her.Crap.She was in for it.

“How much candy have you eaten?”Steele asked.

Ivy shook her head.“None, Daddy. We’re having Book Club.”

Levi raised an eyebrow as he stared down at Harper.“Little girl?”

“We’re having Book Club, Daddy,” she repeated.

He crossed his arms over his chest.“Kitten, you’re riding a fine line, and once you cross it, you’re going to be very sorry.”

Shoot.Crap.

Either way, she was going to be in trouble. Her Daddy had warned her.Might as well keep up the charade.

“I think this room needs a little updating,” Atlas said.

Steele nodded.“I agree. What are you thinking?Rearrange the furniture a bit?”

Harper’s eyes bugged out as she glanced at the other women. They all looked as worried as she felt.

“Yeah.A little sprucing up will make this place real nice.Let’s move this chair to that corner. It will really open it up in here,” Levi replied without moving his gaze from hers.

It only took seconds before Steele and Kade had the chair lifted and moved, exposing their pile of empty chocolate wrappers.
