My gaze goes to Odin, who smirks at me. Am I really going to do this? His gaze is challenging, and an Aakre never backs down from a challenge.

Arching into Odin, I answer loudly, “Yes. Can you come up here, please?”

Grandmama mutters, but I can hear the telltale sign of her cane hitting the floor as she climbs. With each step that she takes, Odin and I rock into each other. The door bangs against the wall with the next thrust, and I have to swallow down a moan.

“Shall I play with your clit, baby girl, or can you get there just like this?”

I’m close. I shouldn’t be, but I am.

I shake my head, unable to speak. His mouth captures mine in a kiss as he reaches between us, rubbing my clit just the way I like. I gasp as goosebumps lift on my skin.

“Come for me, baby girl,” he growls in my ear, tugging on my earlobe.

I shatter, burying my face against his neck as I come. He thrusts one more time before he fills me. I want to stay like this and savor the moment, but Grandmama’s footsteps are getting closer. Odin pulls out of me.

“Better get dressed,” he says with a smirk as he slips into the bathroom.

Fuck. I’m totally naked, and she’s almost here. Reaching for my discarded t-shirt and pants, I slip them on just as she walks up to my door.

“What is so important that you had me come all the way up here?”

“I, uh, was just wondering if it would be okay if I went back home tonight. I’m missing Mother.”

Her gaze softens. “That’s understandable, though you’re going to have to get used to not being around her. She’s married, which means you are no longer her primary concern.”

Like I was ever her primary concern.

I smile. “You’re right. And thank you for letting me stay.”

She eyes my room. “Be sure to pick up before you leave.”

“I will.”

She turns, leaving, and I close the door behind her. Odin is standing in the doorway of the bathroom, pants still undone.

“Get on the bed, baby girl.”

Heat flares through me.

“Why?”

“Because you and I are just getting started.”

Odin and I finally leave Grandmama’s penthouse around two in the morning. He refused to let me up until I came five more times. Thankfully, no one came to see what the commotion coming from my room was, because I was super loud with my last release.

I lean against him in the car.

“I wish we didn’t have to go back to your house.”

“I was just thinking the same thing.” He presses a button on the console, talking to the driver. “Take us to Malik Jafar’s hotel.”

I shiver. “Is that wise?”

“Jafar won’t say shit. God knows I’ve kept enough secrets for him over the years.”

“What if the hotel is booked?”
