“Geez, come on in, Allison,” I said sarcastically as I shut the door behind her.

A sinking feeling formed in my stomach. Allison being here wasn’t a good thing. I loved my sister, but I had to be honest with myself. Where she went, trouble usually followed.

“What’s up?” I asked, swallowing my nerves.

“I think we should switch back.”

“What?” My voice squeaked.

Surely, I heard her wrong.

“I think we should switch back,” she repeated.

“Why? What happened to the guy you were seeing? The one you refused to marry Wyatt over?”

She waved my question away like it was nothing. “He was a loser. Besides, Wyatt’s my husband. He’s just a man, Addy. He probably won’t even notice the difference.”

“No!” I spat, making her pause.

I had never said no to her so easily.

“Excuse me? What do you mean no? He’s my husband, Addy!

“No, he’s not! I married him. Not you.”

“You’re being ridiculous.”

“I’m being ridiculous?” I said, jabbing myself in the chest. “You can’t be serious with this.”

She walked around the living room space, picking up items and checking them out. Without looking at me, she said, “I’m serious.”

“What’s the real reason you want to switch back?” I asked.

“Honestly?”

I nodded. “Honestly.”

“Paris.”

I could hardly believe what she was saying.

“You want to switch back to go to Paris?”

“Yes.”

“Fine. I’ll have Wyatt send you to Paris.”

I wasn’t sure how I would do it, but I would talk him into sending Addy to Paris. Even if I had to go with her, it didn’t matter. I would do it.

“No. This was a mistake, Addy. We can’t live like each other for the rest of our lives. I’m going crazy being you.”

“Allison, too much has happened between Wyatt and me. I—”

“Oh my God, Addison, it’s just sex. You can’t go getting attached to every dick you ride.”

“It’s not about that. It’s just—”

“What? You think he’s in love with you?”
