EPILOGUE

I’m walking down the aisle toward the man I’ve loved almost all my life. He’s wearing a white button-up with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of khaki shorts, and a sexy grin. His sable eyes devour me, making promises of a second honeymoon I’ll never forget.

Everything is beautiful. From the ocean waves lapping the beach beside me, the sun setting to my right, and the sea breeze billowing through my white sundress, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding.

I clutch the pink tropical flower in my hand as I make my way toward my groom without a bit of nervous energy. I know what I want, and I want him. It’s the moment I’ve always dreamed of. It’s almost perfect except for the fact that my dress is a little too tight.

My pregnant stomach pokes out more these days since I’m now five months along, but the man waiting for me beside a few natives ready to marry us doesn’t care. He grins, loving every curve of my new rounded out body.

I take his hand when I reach him, and he leans down and kisses my swollen fingers.

“You’re beautiful,” he says, running his other hand over my pregnant stomach.

I smile up at him, losing myself in his dark gaze. I can see the tiki torches around us flickering in his eyes. Reaching up, I run my finger over the matching tropical flower in his shirt pocket.

Our wedding wasn’t traditional, and we didn’t have a massive guest list. Only a few natives with smiles on their faces and the man officiating the wedding attended, but it was ours, and it was perfect.

Bora Bora was everything it was the first time we visited. Except this time, I could enjoy myself a bit more since I wasn’t worried about my dad. The treatments were working, and he was doing much better.

We booked the same bungalow we had stayed in before, and I couldn’t wait to get back there and spend the rest of the night making love with my husband.

Once we said our vows, Wyatt leaned in and kissed me, sealing our new bond. I reached up and cupped his cheek, loving the feel of the stubble on his cheek.

When the ceremony ended, a group of natives sprinkled us with bright orange petals as he held hands and splashed in the tiny waves rolling in over our toes.

Again, Wyatt leaned over and kissed me.

“You never know. Maybe we’ll have twins,” he said, running his palm along my belly.

“Don’t even say it. I couldn’t imagine raising two at once.”

“Oh, come on. It could be fun. Two little girls with your eyes and smile running around the house. We can buy them matching everything. It will be like having two of the same kid.”

I laughed. “Are you saying there’s two of me?”

He leaned in, skimming my lips with his. “Never. You’re the one and only you, and you’re all mine.”

“All yours, huh?” I asked, wrapping my arms around his waist and leaning my head against his chest.

“Yes. All mine. Forever.”
