Outside the room, no one can see me since its at the end of the hall. “Wait here, so I can make sure the guys are good to go.”
Taking a deep breath, I try to calm my nervousness even though there is no reason to be.
“Okay, come on,” Astera motions.
Walking down the hall, when I reach the end, Astera hands me a rose in place of the bouquet I am supposed to be carrying. I round the corner and see Hayden waiting for me. He smiles the widest I have ever seen him smile when he sees me walking toward him. The couches in the living room have been pushed to the sides of the room where they can sit and watch us get married. Though, a lot of people are standing behind the couches to watch as well.
“Hey.” Hayden grins. “You look like a princess.”
“You look handsome, too.” He is wearing black jeans, a nice button-up shirt, and his VP vest over it.
Griffin clears his throat, grabbing everyone’s attention. This day seems unreal, and if I’m honest, I don’t think I would want it any other way. Griffin tells each of us to repeat his words, which are the normal wedding vows couples say.
“Do you have rings?” Griffin asks.
I give him a funny look. “I didn’t get that far in planning,” I admit.
“Lucky for you, I already got it,” Hayden hands me an all-black wedding band.
We fake him putting my ring on as we continue the vows, and then when it is my turn, I slide his ring on and repeat the vows.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife.”
Hayden grabs me, dips me, and plants his lips on mine, even parting my lips to slip his tongue in for a longer, deeper kiss. Everyone claps.
“Let’s get this party started,” Griffin says.
Hayden shakes Griffin’s hand, thanking him, and I reach to hug him. Pulling away, I smile and let him know, “You don’t know how much this means to me.
Astera joins Griffin. “It does come at a cost,” he grins.
Hayden and I look at each other with confusion.
“Astera and I watch want you both to be our baby’s god parent’s.”
I think my mouth falls to the floor. “Are you serious?”
“Yes,” they say in unison.
“It would be a fucking honor,” I reach to hug them both, and this time, I am not too worried about ruining my makeup.
“You know we are there for you guys and the baby,” Hayden adds. Hayden picks me up and tells them, “Now we have to go get some practice in. We’ll join you later.”
“Get a fucking room,” Astera jokes.
My arms wrap around Hayden’s neck as he carries me over the threshold of his room before setting me on my feet.
“Now, wifey, I’m gonna need you out of that ASAP so I can bend you over and spank your ass for making me wait for that pussy.”
