Then she clenches around me, and a string of obscenities flows from her mouth. I would think more about that, but instead, I have that sensation of floating as my cock pulses inside her.

My arms are wrapped around her, holding her slick body tight to mine. We’re muddy, should be charged with public indecency, and I couldn’t be happier.

“I believe someone needs their mouth washed out with soap,” I tease. I’ve grown soft, but I’m not ready yet to turn her loose. She hasn’t pushed me away either.

“I was trying to enlarge your vocabulary. Did it work?”

“I certainly learned new ways to describe what we just did.”

“Then my job here is done,” she declares.

I laugh and slowly lower her to her feet. After pulling my jeans up, I hold hers so she can step into them. It takes a joint effort to wrestle them back up her luscious legs. I carry her to the passenger seat of the Jeep where she pulls back on her boots.

“Are you ready to go? I’m starving,” I say.

“Yeah, I could use something to eat too. I rushed straight from work to pick you up.”

“Where did you get the Jeep? No, let me guess. Cam lent it to you.”

“She’s awesome like that.”

“Remind me to have a conversation with her about lending vehicles to delinquents.” I start the Jeep and start the bounce back to the main road. “You might not mention I was with you either. I don’t want any trouble from Sheriff Rogers.”

“You’re fine. Wes comes out here all the time after it rains.” I’m not sure what I think about that. Small towns are definitely different.

“So, do you want me to drop you off?” I ask.

“Nah,” she says with a wink. “I’ve already messed up the one-night stand on my list. You should just come shower with me. Then we’ll order pizza.”

I can’t help the giant grin on my face. Her ideas just get better and better. Predictably, I drive back to town as fast as I can without risking a ticket. I know I’m excited to get back to town and Eliot into the shower.

“Do you mind if we swing by my place so I can grab a change of clothes?”

“Of course. Though, I’m thinking you don’t need clothes for what I have in mind.” I stomp on the gas pedal a little harder. Ticket be damned.

We’re back in town in record time. I’m still swinging by my place, hoping the clothes I grab aren’t needed until tomorrow. I pull up to my apartment and freeze.

“What the hell?” It takes all my concentration to put the Jeep in park. Slowly, I climb out of the driver’s seat.

“What’s wrong?” I don’t answer as I walk toward the skinny girl standing on my stairs.

“Tess?” The girl gives me a small wave. “How long have you been here?”

“Not long, I promise,” she answers.

“Where’s your mom?”

“She has a new boyfriend, and he doesn’t like kids, and she said I’m better off here anyway. Can I please stay? I promise I won’t be any trouble,” she blurts out.

“Tess, you know you are always welcome to stay here. But I need to talk to your mom.”

“She sent a bunch of papers for you.” She sits down on the step and starts rummaging through her backpack.

“How about I clean up and get us something to eat first, kiddo? How’s that sound?” I swear I can hear her stomach growl from over here. “Maybe my friend can join us?” I turn around to invite Eliot for pizza and to meet Tessa, but she’s gone.

“She left. I’m sorry, Uncle Owen.”

“Nothing to be sorry for. I’m sure she wanted to get the mud washed off as much as I do. Let’s get inside.” I pull my keys out of my muddy pocket and open the door. Tessa shuffles inside behind me. “I’ll run through the shower. Be thinking about what kind of pizza you want.”
