“You think I’d let you out of my sight again? Not a chance in hell.”

“You’d have to dress nicer,” I remind him with a smile.

“Hate my choice of clothing?”

“No, but it’s a big red carpet event, Ridge. You have to wear a tux.”

“Fuck me, what am I gettin’ myself into?” I can’t help but laugh at him. He’s so perfect.

“Thank you, Ridge. For everything.”

Ridge

Afucking tuxedo. That’s what she has me dressed up in, and I feel like a complete ass in it too. This isn’t comfortable at all, and I think she knows that.

I wait for her to finish getting ready, and then I see her walking down the stairs. She takes my breath away. She’s wearing the dress I saw on her bed, and fuck does she look amazing in it.

“Damn, Olson.”

“You like it?” she asks as she finishes walking down the steps and over toward me.

“I love it. You look fuckin’ beautiful.”

“Look at you! You look amazing, Ridge. I didn’t know if you could pull off the tux, but you do,” she tells me.

“You doubted me?” I ask, raising an eyebrow at her. She laughs and throws herself into my arms.

“Never doubted you, Ridge. Ever.”

“This thing, how long does it last?”

“Why?”

“I need to strip you out of that dress and fuck you over the back of the couch,” I tell her. She’s driving me crazy, and she hasto know that. In case she doesn’t, I grab her hand and drag it down to my cock, already hard and wanting her.

“We can’t do that now. We don’t have time,” she smiles, but I don’t miss the little flash of lust in her eyes either. I know she wants me just as much as I want her. And I’d gladly give myself to her here and now.

Instead, the car honks out front, letting us know it’s time to leave. I’ve never been to anything like this before, so I don’t know what to expect.

“What am I lookin’ at here?” I ask.

“Just smile, and that’s it. I’ll take care of everything else,” she informs me.

“That’s it, huh?”

“Yeah, that’s it. Let’s go,” she says, tugging at my hand so I follow behind her. I can’t help but watch her ass and the way that dress hugs it. I don’t want people looking at her tonight. I want her all to myself. I want her just for my eyes and not theirs.

I open the door and we climb in before the car takes off through the streets. Olson is smiling, which isn’t something I expected of her so soon after what happened. She has a knot on the back of her head from being hit, but that was all. I was thankful as fuck that was all that happened to her.

“You okay?” I ask when her smile fades a little.

“I just feel like I should feel something, but I don’t. I’m glad it’s over,” she tells me.

“You shouldn’t feel anything but happy, Olson. That’s all you should ever feel.”

“You make me happy, Ridge. Even when you tried to push me away, I was happy that you were still around. What happened today … it should have broken me. It should have affected me in some kind of way, but I don’t feel it. Is that wrong of me?”
