He moves slowly, coating the tip of his cock in my arousal before edging himself inside me. “Fuck, Mads,” he hisses.

My legs twitch with the thrilling sensation of him filling me. He’s not even halfway in, yet my eyes roll to the back of my head. I need him to give me release. I turn to look at him over my shoulder as he pushes in further, then withdraws all the wayto the tip. God, that feels so good. My body tightens around him. I can’t take my eyes off him as he continues to slowly push and withdraw.

My lips part, a long breath escaping my mouth. I need more. Pushing back onto him, I start circling my hips, encouraging him to speed up.

He watches me riding his cock for a few moments before his fingers grip my hips, and when he next drives forwards, a cry escapes me.

“Fuck, VP, just like that!”

Gritting his teeth together, I keep watching as he starts driving faster. The feeling of him working my body deep with precision, turns me on so fast, I can feel my orgasm suddenly at the surface.

“Dean, I’m coming!” I cry.

He doesn’t tell me to wait or slow down. Instead, he surges and thrusts into my body, driving me to my climax.

I come with a rush, pulsating around him as he lets go as well. My breaths are laboured and exhausted. My hands scrunch the sofa cushions as the last waves of pleasure have me twitching.

“That’s got to be a record,” he breathes, his fingers still squeezing my hips as he eventually slows to a stop.

I smile, my face resting in my arms on the back of the sofa.

He pulls out, cleans me up, then adjusts my knickers and pulls my leggings back into place.

Pushing to stand, a sharp pain emanates in my ribs, stealing the air from my lungs. “Shit,” I wince.

Dean’s hands still hold me. He looks at me as he helps guide me to my feet. “What’s wrong?”

“Pain. Here,” I say, clutching the left side of my body, the pain easing slightly as I move to stand.

“Usual pain, or pulled a muscle?”

Every now and again I still feel a niggle where I broke a few ribs, but this feels different. “Must have pulled a muscle. Lost my core strength whilst growing a human.” I stretch my back, hands on my hips as Dean smiles at me with an eyebrow raised.

“Core strength?” he questions mockingly.

“Hey, I’d give you a good run for you money,” I say laughing, still rubbing the affected area. We both know I’d never win a fight, but that wouldn’t stop me giving it my best shot, and he knows it.

Dean grabs my jumper from the floor, scrunching the opening for my head in his hands. He hoops it over my head, and I put in my arms, happy to leave my bra off.

Sitting on the sofa, he holds his arms open for me.

I move to sit next to him but he carefully pulls me to his lap.

“Soon, I’ll be too heavy to sit on you,” I say, turning my body into his.

“Babe, you could be the size of a whale and I’d still want you on my lap.”

I smile, and he holds me in silence, my eyes lazily closing as he strokes the tips of his fingers up and down my spine, his other hand holding my bump. I love our moments like this. The three of us. Quiet. Happy.

“Do you think she’ll love me?” Dean’s question immediately makes my eyes spring open.

I push up from his chest to look at him. “What?” My eyes scrunch together confused.

“The baby. Do you think she’ll love me?” It hurts my soul that he asked that question. And it breaks my heart that he thinks his child wouldnotlove him. What’s not to love? His selflessness, his bravery, his ability to care and to protect the things that are precious to him. Yet he believes he deserves nothing in return.

He believes he is worthy of nothing.

Tears are threatening to run down my face. I want to slapsome sense into him. I contemplate it, but it won’t help. “Your money’s still on it being a girl?” is all I say instead.
