“It doesn’t matter. You should eat.”
“What if I want to eat you?” He pressed his hard length against me.
I snickered at him for misbehaving and moved out of his grip. I set the food out and took a seat next to him behind the desk.
“How is your day going?”
“Fine.”
“Come on, baby. For me, try and care about the food.”
Grunting he picked up the plate of Mediterranean food, ate a little, and smiled. “Thank you for coming today.”
“You’re welcome. Since you surprise me so much, I wanted to do the same for you.”
I moved over and sat in his lap. “Tonight I have a little business at the club. You want to join me?”
“I do.”
“Sounds like you're stalking me now.”
I kissed him on the nose. “Wherever my man goes, I’m there.”
“I like the sound of those words.”
“That’s good to know.”
Esteban lifted his fork to feed me. “How was work?”
“I had it off today. Louise said to enjoy my boyfriend.”
He quirked his brow. “Boyfriend…”
“Boyfriend until a ring is on my finger.”
We laughed and we continued to eat when a knock came at the door. I put away the trash, and he stood, strolled around the desk, and opened the door to let Connor, his Vice President, come inside.
“Lovely Emersyn, so good to see you.”
“Hi, Connor.” I stuck my hand out, and he picked it up to raise it to his lips. Esteban snatched my hand away, causing us both to laugh.
“He’s grumpy today I see.” Connor took a seat in front of his desk.
I pointed my finger at him. “Not too much on my man, Connor.”
Both chortled and I grinned at seeing his armor come down. “What’s up Connor?” Esteban asked.
“Are we still on for the club tonight?” Connor questioned.
“Yeah, and my baby is joining me,” Esteban said.
“Are you sure? I know a few clients will be there?” Connor mentioned.
“If it’s business, I can go another day.”
He yanked me into his lap, and he moved a hand up and down my thigh. “The only thing important is you.”
He cupped my chin and we leaned into a kiss. He snaked his tongue into my mouth. I moaned at his smooth touch, and my arousal stirred.
