“What’s your problem?” I threw back and he snarled as he rolled his eyes. Why did he have to pop the bubble of bliss I was currently immersed in as I thought of Nate and how we had spent our Saturday night kissing and teasing each other with light touches?

Fuck, his kiss felt like sex!

How long could I hold out really before I wanted so much more than just cuddles and kisses?

“Why are you giggling alone?” he asked and I frowned, looking at him. He’s still on my case?“You have a crazy look in your eyes.”

He pointed to his eyes and I was getting a headache.

“Why are you watching me?” I questioned back and he scoffed as he stood up straight, strapping on his gloves as he got ready to go on the ice after watching the boys skate laps around the ice.

“I’m not watching you because I want to. You’re just being annoying and distracting laughing alone as you look at your camera. What do you have on there anyway?”

He leaned in closer and I raised my hand.

“It’s none of your business, and if I’m being so annoying, move away from me!” I argued and he kissed his teeth, looking me up and down.

“Are you pregnant again?” he whispered and my eyes widened as my mouth hung open.WHAT THE FUCK?“You acted this way weeks before you told us the news, forgive me for asking.”

“Brian, leave me alone,” I whispered harshly and he shrugged as he crossed his arms over his chest.

“I’m just asking, Avery!” he said a bit loudly. “I’m not judging you. I wouldn’t mind another niece or nephew, preferably niece this time an?—“

“OH MY GOD! Brian!” I screamed and the boys stopped skating as they watched us surprised. I smiled kindly at them and leaned in closer to Brian, as I whispered to him. “It’s not as if I can choose what to give birth to okay, and I am not pregnant! So stop assuming shit, please!”

This was not the place or time, nor person, for me to be having this conversation with.

“Hmm? I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that you could choose the gender of the baby.” He rubbed his chin and I sighed as I looked at my brother.

No man exhausts me like he does, effortlessly so too!

“Then you have a baby,” I said as I leaned against my hand, watching as he frowned shaking his head.

“Absolutely not, this body was not made to have a kid calling medaddy. It was made for women to call me daddy.” He winked and I gagged.

“You’re disgusting,” I muttered and he smirked as he leaned against the railing. “But Niel is getting bored, it would be nice if you could bless him with a cousin.” I blinked my eyes and he snarled moving away from me.

“No way! Not you or Mom could ever convince me to have one of those clingy human beings. I told you, I’m only daddy to women.”

“One of these days one of those women will give you a child that will call you daddy,” Nate said as he skated over to us and balanced himself against the railing. “Hi, Avery.” He smiled and I waved.

I gave you someone who would call you daddy, but neither of you know.

“You first,” Brian murmured as he cupped his face, looking at the boys as they played around on the ice. Everyone was so relaxed as if they didn’t have a match coming up soon. “The way you’re going with your lady, I expect to hear news soon.”

Nate smiled as he stared into my eyes for a quick second and my heartbeat quickened, suddenly making it hard for me to breathe.

“Hmm, I don’t know. It would be nice though to have a mini me running around from her,” he said and my heart stilled while something else developed a pulse.

“Really? You’re ready for a child?” Brian asked shocked and Nate shrugged, smiling lightly.

“I don’t know. She makes me feel ready for absolutely anything.”

I bit my tongue as I looked away from his gaze.

“I would take care of her and our child.”

AHH FUCK!Should I just admit right now in front of everyone?SHOULD I?
