Mallori
I have mommy issues.
In the form of an overbearing stage mom who only cares about my ballet career. After an incident colors my entire way of thinking, I’m ready to break away from her.
From everything. Including dance.
I’m a phoenix, rising from the ashes, and I can smell the freedom when I head to Texas to start over.
Will I ever find my desire to dance again?
Or will a certain broody protector open my mind to other passions?

Hawk
I have mommy issues.
And I don’t want to talk about it.
When my friend Cam’s younger cousin moves to Texas, she needs a place to stay, so I open my home to her. I know she’s off limits. Way off limits.
But she’s such a tempting little morsel. Bright and funny to my dark and brooding. It would never work.
Not that I want it to work. That’s the last thing I want.
Falling for my best friend’s cousin is forbidden, and I refuse to think otherwise.
After all, there’s no way innocent little Mallori would share my depraved tastes. There’s no way she would want to enter my Den of Sin.
Right?
