The Art of Professing Love

They say opposites attract, but a free-spirited fae and a stubborn professor could never be compatible, right? Sylvan Lockwood and Irving Scott certainly think so, but the town matchmaker believes otherwise.

Irving signed up for a soulmate on a dare, never in a million years imagining he would actually find one. He’s even more surprised when “the one” turns out to be none other than a fae with more passion than he knows what to do with.
Sylvan tries his best to make things work with Irving, but a stuffy, hard-headed professor can be persuaded to give in to only so much and the two clash terribly on their first date. But the more time they spend together, the more they realize that, deep down, they have more in common with each other than they thought.
They also both have their pasts with previous lovers, and those pasts catch up to them when Irving’s ex-fiancé arrives in town with some dirt on Sylvan. Irving must decide how much love can conquer after all, and Sylvan must come to terms with his soulmate’s decision whether he’s part of Irving’s future or not.
