Her head is in the clouds. His feet are firmly on the ground.
What happens when the two worlds collide?

Faith Sullivan believes an unseen higher power is running—or lately, ruining—her life. Unstable to begin with, Faith’s world is thrown into upheaval after a death in the family. Suddenly in charge of a flailing bookstore, her rebellious teenage sister, and her ailing father, Faith must get her life together fast. That means putting her manhunt on the back burner.
After FBI Agent Nick Walker is injured, he has no choice but to move home to convalesce. As a young adult, he fled Green Valley Falls, vowing never to return. But his near-death experience has him reevaluating all sorts of things. Including the feelings he’d packed away concerning his little sister’s flighty best friend.
Faith believes in destiny-determining stars. Nick believes in evidence-based facts. But is it possible they each have something the other needs? And could the one thing they have in common become a foundation for love?

This closed-door, opposites-attract, small-town, romantic comedy forces a wounded FBI agent to return home, where he finds meaning, purpose, and eventually love in a place he least expects.
