When Sullivan decided to reach out to the Mayport pack for an alliance, he didn’t expect to be drawn to Matty, a cute bear shifter who lives with the pack. When Matty needs help, Sullivan is happy to help him and relieved to be able to stay away from the coven for a few hours.
Especially because he’ll spend those hours with Matty.
The last thing Matty expected was for Sullivan, a mage he’s never talked to, to volunteer to protect him on the road trip to retrieve his sister. He liked Sullivan before, but he likes him even more now, and it’s a short step to falling in love with him.
Sullivan is working against his coven’s leaders, and his life is in more danger with every minute he spends at the coven house. He’s not backing down, but he can’t help but wonder if he’ll make it out alive or if he’ll lose the chance he has at a happy future with Matty.
