However, when one of her fellow clan members is taken, she’s partnered with Antony to find her. And despite her desire to keep things professional, it gets harder and harder to resist his charm.
Antony Holbrook has spent the last two decades living in the shadows, protecting his country and trying to make up for failing his late fiancée. But after his brother, Max, finds his dragon mate, Antony realizes he wants to retire from the field and live in the light again. He even knows who he wants at his side—Iris Mahajan, the dragonwoman full of her own secrets. She’s reluctant because of her past, but Antony is determined to win her over and prove he’s a man who doesn’t want to change her.

As the pair work to rescue the kidnapped dragon-shifters, Iris starts to wonder if Antony is a male she can trust with her heart.
