He’s temporary. Her life is in flux. Their chemistry is permanent.
Marketing executive Nicole Delaney has her life perfectly controlled—until her new neighbor moves in next door. Shawn Reagan is everything she doesn’t need: cocky, gorgeous, and loud enough to wake her at 5 AM with his workouts. The former soldier turned elite personal trainer thinks he has her all figured out—another uptight career woman who needs a good time to loosen up.

He’s wrong. And she’s about to prove it.
When Nicole’s work stress threatens her health, she reluctantly agrees to let Shawn train her. But their professional arrangement quickly turns personal when she discovers the passion she’s kept buried for years. He awakens desires she never knew existed, making her crave things she’s too scared to ask for.
Shawn’s used to women wanting his body, not his heart. But Nicole’s hidden fire and unexpected vulnerability shatter every assumption he’s made about successful women. She’s not looking for a fling—and neither is he anymore.

There’s just one problem: he’s only house-sitting until his deployed brother returns in the spring. She knows better than to fall for someone temporary. He knows better than to promise forever to a woman married to her career.
But when Thanksgiving dinner becomes their turning point, the walls they’ve built start crumbling. Between turkey and temptation, they’ll discover that the season of gratitude might just be the perfect time to give their hearts away.

A steamy standalone novella perfect for readers who love cocky heroes, strong heroines, and holiday romance that changes everything.
