Knot the End

Sometimes, when one door closes, three more open.
Johanna lived in the shadow of famed genius and mad omega scientist Max Shallot all her adult life. Some would say she hitched her wagon to his star, others that she served as his muse. No one guesses right, though—the truth is far more complicated. They began as classmates in college, but she became what Max needed.

Best friend. Business partner. Some-time lover. Beloved.
Then Max’s sudden death leaves her alone. Johanna always knew this day would come, given how fast and bright he blazed through the world, caring for everyone except himself. She feared, worried, and grieved in advance. Though she hasn’t figured out what comes next, she’s a mature beta female in her prime, capable of living without him.

Except, Max changed the terms of his will without warning, adding three alpha males to help her carry on his legacy. One resents her for having chosen Max over him, the second ran from her at their last meeting, and the third—Max’s cousin—has never been anything but a dear friend.

Knot the End is a cozy and steamy, MMFM, why-choose romance set in an interconnected, non-shifting Omegaverse world, featuring characters in their fifties, multiple 1st person POVs, and a guaranteed happy ending.
