Viper's Regret
To everyone else, my husband is Viper; hard, uncompromising, and completely committed to his brothers in the Devil’s Rejects MC. But I just fell in love with a man named Roman, a man who called me Sunshine and who treated me like a treasure. By the time I realized the club would always come first, I was in too deep.
He had many enemies. And on the night they came for me, he protected someone else. Her. The woman who treats me like an interloper, who never misses a chance to point out that I don’t fit into Roman’s world.
Roman begs for my forgiveness. He promises to spend the rest of his life earning back my trust. But promises are cheap, and I no longer trust his. I leave to start a new life, far away from him and the danger of his world.
It turns out that danger is not so easy to escape, however. Someone wants me dead, and the man who broke my heart might be the only person who can save me. I am dragged back again into the shadowy world of club rivalries and politics, caught between the man who wants to be my future and the only man I’ve ever truly loved. It’s clear Roman has changed. It’s clear the attraction between us burns as brightly as ever. I’m tempted to give in to the little voice telling me he’s changed, begging me to try again. Assuming, of course, that our enemies don’t kill us all first.
