Cara Wells is focused on her career. As the owner of a publishing company, she doesn’t have time to focus on dating. And quite frankly, she’s tired. After so many failed dates, she’s giving it a break. That is until her friends convince her to try one last thing: a speed dating event. It’ll definitely end like all the others, right
Vera Rojas works hard. She’s a construction worker, volunteer firefighter, and a big family woman. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her large family. Her grandmother has been pressuring her to settle down so she attends a masquerade themed speed dating event, just to say she tried.
After one night of masked pleasure, the two never expected to see each other again. Especially in such close proximity.
Vera wants to pick up where they left off. Cara wants to pretend it never happened. Add in a misunderstanding, a wedding in Bali, and an agreement, and Vera is all kinds of complicated.
What will happen when these two are forced to spend time together. Will the be a match made in masquerade, or is one night all they will have?
