On Surviving An Alien Abduction
I’d never expected to get abducted by aliens, and once I did, I didn’t exactly expect to survive.
The first aliens we encountered were gross. Nothing any monster lover would want to entertain, but lucky for us their ship broke down and they dumped us in a forest where the locals are much easier on the eyes. The big teal guy who comes to my rescue is definitely not human, but I can’t help the immediate attraction I feel as he keeps me alive and helps me through the forest.
On Mates of the Zapharian Empire:
The universe is vast and varied, but there are few rules proven true time and time again. The most important, that every sentient species across the galaxy capable of multi-unit reproduction has a true mate. Another being or beings who are fated to be theirs. And wonderfully, because our universe is mighty, fate often intervenes to bring mates together. It is not a guarantee or promise that one ever finds their mate, and many go their lives experiencing fulfilling emotional and sexual relationships without ever meeting their mate, but when fate steps in and brings creatures together for love, entropy loses its grip on us all a little more.
