She escaped his medical bay for fries. Now the galaxy’s most possessive healer is taking her off-station himself…

Delilah Sawyer has always been the disaster… the impulsive one, the broke one, the woman nobody chooses. Waking from a coma on an alien space station should convince her to take life more seriously, but escaping medical for a free burger seems perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, her terrifyingly handsome and sexy alien doctor disagrees.
When Kellat is ordered off-station, he refuses to leave his runaway patient behind, sweeping her aboard his shuttle for a road trip she plans to enjoy whether he likes it or not…
He’s supposed to monitor her recovery. Not obsess over her smile, threaten every male who looks at her… or imagine her as his.
Kellat V’Raav is the empire’s most disciplined Lead Healer, a battle-trained wall of muscle, silver braids, and iron control. But Delilah is prickly, reckless, endlessly talkative… and the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen. He knows something she doesn’t: the Mate Program has declared them a ninety-nine-point-eight-percent match. Now all he has to do is protect her, resist her, and keep that secret until she’s ready to hear it. Even if he’s one growl away from showing her exactly who she belongs with…

Then a medical conference exposes just how extraordinary Delilah’s recovery really is. Powerful researchers want answers… and some of them are far more interested in her DNA than what she wants.

He’s determined to protect her without claiming her. But when danger closes in, the healer may have to unleash the warrior underneath…
