Everything is catching up with me. Every lie I told to protect the people I love has turned into a nightmare. What will it take to fix everything I broke?

When it becomes obvious I can no longer stay in hiding without risking everyone I care about, I step out of the shadows. The cold reception I get is the opposite of the warm welcome I was expecting. A punch in the face would have hurt less than the way Maverick turned his back and walked out.

I’m determined to get him back, no matter the cost. The problem? The leggy blonde with an attitude problem and her hooks in my man. Jo is as driven as she is intelligent and won’t be giving Maverick up without a fight. But just when I think I’m ready to take her on, a literal bomb goes off and Jo and I are stuck together without Maverick.

Learning to live with each other while trying to hunt down the serial killer keeping us in hiding becomes easy and feelings that I don’t understand creep up on me. When we’re unexpectedly reunited with Maverick, I think I can finally let myself be happy. But that’s short lived when Patrick reemerges and tries to take that joy. What he doesn’t understand is that I’m done living in the shadows.

My name is Ezra Irons, and I will get my life back.

Fractured Hearts is the fourth and final installment in the Shattered Halo series. While each book follows a different couple, they are best read in order.
