What starts as a research expedition to the seldom explored parts of the arctic ends up as a horrifyingly-heated encounter with an ancient mask.

Being trapped at sea on a small boat with a grumpy—and ridiculously hot—sea captain in search of the sunken city of R’lyeh has left me ostracized from the scientific community.
They think I’m insane. Maybe I am. Out in the cold dark, chasing nothing but a myth.
I’ll prove them wrong. I’ll find proof that Cthulhu’s sunken city not only exists, but that it’s bleeding something sinister into our waters and mutating sea life as we know it.
