Doctor’s Orders

Some women are lucky. They’re the ones that buy a lottery ticket on a whim and win the whole jackpot. The ones who meet their Prince Charmings in middle school. I have a different kind of luck. The kind where you meet a ridiculously sexy silver fox one night and you let him take you home for mind-blowing pleasure only to find out the very next day, he’s your new boss. And your landlord.

I stopped believing in fairy tales a long time ago, right about the time that I realized that women cared mostly about what I was packing in my pants. Namely my enormous wallet. I have never once questioned my commitment to bachelorhood. Until Lizzie Greer walked into my life, into my bedroom, and into my heart. I finally found the one woman I want to spoil forever. Unfortunately, life has kicked her around. She’s smart, stubborn, and independent AF. Life has taught her to trust no one. Especially not a man with a reputation as a player. Let alone a man who holds her career in his hands.
